Farmers Market Fridays take place every FRIDAY from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. inside the Indianola Community Wellness Center at 408 Moody Avenue. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available. Cash and cards accepted.

Fight Hunger! Feed Hope!
Harvest Fest
Mississippi Center for Justice is hosting a Fight Hunger! Feed Hope! Harvest Fest at the Indianola Community Wellness Center, located at 408 Moody Street, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. FRIDAY, NOV. 14. In conjunction with Alcorn State University, Mars Foods and Mississippi Food Network, this event will provide free produce and dried goods to community members. The Indianola Wellness Center will conduct food demonstrations and provide samples to community members using ingredients distributed at the food drive. Bring your own bag and leave with food, knowledge and resources. Mississippi Center for Justice is a non-profit, public interest law firm fighting to advance racial, social and economic justice for all Mississippians. S.O.S. for Healing Conversations
The local monthly “Safe Online Space (S.O.S.) for Healing Conversations,” an anonymous, judgement-free and secure online chatroom session for sexual assault victims/survivors, will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. MONDAY, NOV. 17. Anyone affected by sexual violence, whether it happened to you or someone you care about, can find support. Food Drive Donations Sought
Continuing daily through FRIDAY, NOV. 21, Mississippi Center for Justice is hosting a food drive to help support local families. Please stop by the Indianola office, located at 120 Court Avenue, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to donate nonperishable items. They are asking for dried beans, dried pastas, canned beans, meal kits, rice and grains. All donations will be delivered to the nearest food pantry.
Free Winter Clothing Give-Away
Delta Missions Ministry, 410 Johnson Street, Indianola, is having a FREE Clothing Give-Away from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. FRIDAY, NOV. 21. The giveaway will continue on SATURDAY, NOV. 22, from 8 a.m.to 1 p.m. Men's, women's and children's clothes, coats, and shoes in ALL sizes will be given away. Household items and MUCH, MUCH MORE will be FREE TO ALL! Please bring your own bags or boxes for your items as no bags or boxes will be available at the site.
