The following persons were booked into the Sunflower County jail August 12 to August 19,
On August 12 at 11:24 p.m., L. C. Hillbler II, 47, 635 Roosevelt St., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (failure to comply with the requests or commands of law enforcement officers).
On August 14 at 3:05 p.m., Damion Tylen Martin, 22, 714 Martin Luther King Drive, Belzoni was arrested and charged with two counts of arson.
On Friday at 12:23 p.m., Michael Benjamin Terry, 40, 2873 U.S. Highway 49 West, Doddsville was arrested and charged with statutory rape on a victim under 14 years of age (25 months younger and not a spouse) and gratification (touching a child for lustful purposes by a person over 18 years of age/a child under the age of 16).
On Saturday at 3:02 p.m., Andre Marquses Miles, 45, 2501 Garrard Ave., was arrested and charged on a hold warrant for another agency, disorderly conduct (failure to comply with the requests or commands of law enforcement officers) and contempt of municipal court (failure to appear).
On Sunday at 8:48 p.m., Fredrick Brown, 24, 506 Martin Luther King Drive, Pine Lane Apts., #A4 Sunflower was arrested and charged with shooting into a dwelling, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon by a felon.
On Tuesday at 2:09 p.m., Antiquarian Gibson, 37, Church Ave., was arrested and charge with seven counts of contempt of municipal court (failure to appear), shoplifting and simple assault (causing bodily injury).
