On March 24 at 2:03 a.m., officers were called to the 100 block of Terrace Drive about a domestic dispute.
On Thursday at 2:51 p.m., a man said he was robbed of $800 on Church Street at the free park.
On March 24 at 9:12 a.m., a man said someone broke into his 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 in the 100 block of Park Avenue and stole a Glock 43 9mm semi-automatic handgun valued at $600.
On March 24 at 1:30 p.m., officers spotted a white pickup truck in the parking lot of Discount Wine & Liquor on Front Street Extended and identified the passenger as a man who had an active warrant for his arrest. Officers reportedly seized 5.4 grams of crack cocaine, an Anderson Manufacturing AM15 rifle and a Stoeger Arms STR-9C 9mm handgun.
On Thursday at 5:19 p.m., a woman driving a 2015 Dodge Challenger and a woman driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue were involved in a accident in the 100 block of Carver Street that resulted in damage to the rear bumper of the Nissan and the driver's side door of the Dodge, but no injuries were reported.
On Thursday at 4:40 p.m., officers were called to the Sunflower Estates about a suspicious person.
On Friday at 11:07 p.m., officers were called to the Americas Best Value Inn about a gunshot victim. Several persons said they witnessed a fight between a couple later identified as an Aquarius Circle man and a South Wilson Street, Sunflower woman. Neither suspect was at the hotel when police arrived, but witnesses said a fight occurred outside of the hotel room and the woman shot the man in the leg and he subsequently shot her back. Officers followed a blood trail to a room and along the way found a purse and a pair of shoes along with 10 shell casings from a 9 mm handgun in the parking lot. In the room, where the couple was apparently staying, officers found a driver's license belonging to the man, plus multiple bullet holes in the window, wall, door and ceiling. The man reportedly left the hotel walking and the woman left in a Nissan Altima. Officers were also reportedly able to obtain video footage of the incident from the hotel security cameras.
On Friday at 9:19 a.m., officers executed a traffic stop near Roosevelt and Hannah streets and recovered a Glock 9mm handgun and a Glock .40 caliber weapon.
On Saturday at 12:27 a.m., a 31-year-old Herman Johnson Street man said a 41-year-old Maple Street, Moorhead man threatened him.
On Saturday at 8:11 p.m., officers were called to the 100 block of Hull Circle about an unwanted person and after they checked for warrants, a 29-year-old Hull Circle man was reportedly arrested and booked into custody.
On Sunday at 3:39 p.m., a Dorsett Drive man said that someone damaged his 2020 Dodge Charger.
On Sunday at 7:51 p.m., a Walmart employee said that a 20-year-old Popinjay Drive, Memphis man came into the store and stole snow crabs and shrimp totaling $58.66 by removing the barcode and replacing them with another item's code from the freezer section. The man was reportedly taken into custody.
On Sunday at 8:48 p.m., a 32-year-old Aquarius Circle man said a 32-year-old Bates Street man assaulted him.
On Sunday at 10:19 p.m., a 40-year-old woman said a 44-year-old Hannah Avenue man assaulted her on Hannah Avenue.
On Monday at 12:58 a.m., a 20-year-old Cleveland Street woman said a 21-year-old Cleveland Street man assaulted her.
On Monday at 6:46 a.m., a Bellevue Drive man said someone stole the catalytic converter, valued at $800, off of a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck that was parked at the city hall and owned by the City of Indianola.
On Monday at 11:35 a.m., a 49-year-old Campbell Drive woman said that she has been receiving threatening text messages from different phone numbers.
On Monday at 1:13 p.m., a 59-year-old Stokes Road, Greenville resident, driving a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, said a 44-year-old Beaverdam Road man damaged her windshield.
On Monday at 1:49 p.m., a 46-year-old Spoonbill Court woman said that a 13-year-old Spoonbill Court boy has been following her around the neighborhood when she walks, peeping into her windows and spying on her.
On Monday at 5:21 p.m., someone said that a 21-year-old Cherokee Lane woman was at America's Best Value Inn creating a disturbance.
On Monday at 4:46 p.m., officers were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital emergency room because of a 19-year-old Coates Street man that had a gunshot wound.
On Monday at 5:33 p.m., a woman said that a 61-year-old Bell Avenue, Greenwood man was sending explicit text electronically to a 13-year-old girl that is in her custody.
On Monday at 9:37 p.m. a Walmart employee said that a Walker Street man was trespassing in the store after being banned for multiple shoplifting attempts. The employee said he confronted the man when he saw him in the store and reminded him that he had been banned, but the man refused to leave and started yelling and said that he had something for him in his car. The man reportedly only left the store when he saw that the employee was calling the police.
On Tuesday at 12:07 a.m., a Carver Street woman, who said she is in the process of getting a divorce, said her husband, a Wiggins Road man, saw her driving on U.S. Highway 82 near Pizza Hut and turned around in the middle of the road and tried to run her off of the road. The woman said that he then hit the back of her 2016 Nissan Altima causing damage, so she drove to the police department where he followed her and banged her car again on the driver's side door and left the scene.
On Tuesday at 1:26 p.m., a Janet Davis Circle woman, driving a 2015 Kia Cadenza, and a South Walker Street man, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, were in an accident near J-Mac's store on Curtis Street. Damage was reported to the vehicles, but no injuries were reported.
On Tuesday at 1:49 p.m. the balcony over the drive-thru window at Popeye's restaurant was reportedly damaged by a 2006 Ford Econo panel truck.
On Wednesday at 1:27 a.m., a 32-year-old McAllister Drive, Belzoni man said someone broke into his 2016 Chevrolet Impala and stole a Michael Kors bubble jacket.
On Wednesday at 3:24 a.m., an alarm at the Rasberry United Methodist Church alerted officers that the building had been vandalized.
On Wednesday at 3:07 a.m. someone broke into the Double Quick store on B.B. King Road. Upon arrival, officers found that the front window had been broken out and half of a red brick was in the floor behind the cash register along with several packs of cigarettes. Video footage showed a tall, slender man wearing all black with something gray over his head walk up to the window, and throw a brick through it. The man entered the store and took an unknown number of packs of cigarettes and went back through the window. He also apparently cut himself because blood was found on several packs of cigarettes that were taken into evidence along with the brick.
In addition, officers were called to the Popeye’s restaurant on Friday at 9:40 p.m. because of a threatening assault. And on Friday at 10:24 p.m., officers were called to a U.S. Highway 82 business about a shoplifting.

A 16-year-old Indianola resident was shot and wounded in the leg while walking along Bates Street on Monday afternoon. The incident happened between 4:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., and the youth suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was treated at the local hospital and released.
The investigation revealed that he did not know who shot him or why. The incident is still under investigation.

On March 24 at 10:12 a.m., Robert Jamar Batteast, 26, 619 Roosevelt St., was arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling.
On March 24 at 3:53 p.m., Jeremy Lee McGee, 18, 409 Cleveland St., was arrested and charged with simple assault and no/expired driver's license.
On Friday at 9:52 a.m., Lamon Cooper, 34, 1200 Moore St., Inverness was arrested on a hold for investigation.
On Friday at 10:49 a.m., Jashawn Marques Colton, 24, 415 Gholston Ave., Inverness was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
On Friday at 6:00 p.m., Dwayne Gray Jr, 23, 509 East Washington St., Moorhead was arrested and charged with malicious mischief.
On Friday at 11:27 p.m., Justin Darell Jones, 32, 530 Cately St., Greenville was arrested and charged with improper equipment on a vehicle, no/expired driver's license and DUI.
On Saturday at 2:46 p.m., Curtis Dale Williams, 59, 406 Westside Ave., was arrested and charged with seatbelt violation, improper equipment on a vehicle, no proof of liability insurance, no/expired driver's license and contempt of Municipal Court.
On Sunday at 8:49 a.m., Erica Shyrese Hodges, 25, 622 Garrard Ave., was arrested and charged with violation of drug court rules.
On Tuesday at 1:45 p.m., William Thomas Beacham, 60, 411 North Sunflower Ave., was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense).
