On January 8 at 2:30 p.m., a 58-year-old Sunflower man said someone broke into a storage building that he owns on Marie Avenue and that another storage unit, owned by a 51-year-old U.S. Highway 82 East, Leland man, was also damaged.
On Friday at 5:03 p.m., a 19-year-old Little Milton Road, Inverness man said he was shot while driving his 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix on U.S. 82 East. Another Inverness man is listed as the suspect.
On January 12 at 8:55 p.m., a Fountain Avenue woman said a 51-year-old Oak Street man damaged her picnic table. Officers reportedly had a 2003 Buick sedan towed from the scene.
On Saturday at 3:47 p.m., a South Davis Circle woman said someone used her identity information to get a loan.
On January 13 at 1:34 a.m., a Love's Truck Stop employee said a 29-year-old Hull Circle man stole a pack of cigarettes from behind the counter, which was later retrieved and returned.
On Sunday at 4:53 a.m., a Porter Drive man said a 30-year-old Grove Park woman stole $700 cash at the Delta Inn and Suites on U.S. Highway 82.
On Friday at 9:47 a.m., a 45-year-old Delta Health Alliance employee said someone had stolen the catalytic converter off of their 2018 Chevrolet Express van.
On Saturday at 10:08 a.m., a 40-year-old Roselle Street, Memphis man said a 29-year-old Crane Street man used a bill that was in his name to get his $1,200 stimulus check.
On Friday at 10:48 p.m., an East Parkway woman and an East Parkway man said someone had broken into their 2010 Jeep, but nothing was listed as stolen.
On Sunday at 6:43 p.m., a Walmart employee said that a 45-year-old Clay Street man stole a $19 radio from the store.
On January 13 at 12:02 p.m., the general manager at Love's Truck Stop said an employee, a 22-year-old Wiggins Road woman, stole a $3 Starbucks frappuccino, he pressed charges and she was subsequently fired.
On Sunday at 9:37 a.m., a West Herman Johnson Street man said someone stole his 2019 Nissan Armada.
On Sunday at 6:32 a.m., a Greenwood, South Carolina man said someone broke into his 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup at the Quality Inn on U.S. Highway 82 East and stole a Taurus .380 handgun valued at $400, $40 worth of ammo, a $30 handbag, and some medication.
On Sunday at 9:21 a.m., a Beaverdam Road woman said that on Friday, a 21-year-old Cherokee Lane woman was harassing her on social media.
On January 12 at 7:52 p.m., a 55-year-old Jefferson Wapello Road, Eldon, Iowa man, driving an 18-wheeler truck, called officers because he was stuck in the ditch on U.S. Highway 82 near McDonald's.
On January 13 at 11:44 a.m., a 41-year-old Birdsong Street woman said someone in New York stole her identity by using her social security number.
On Monday at 5:34 p.m., a 21-year-old Cherokee Lane woman said that a 29-year-old Westside Avenue woman has been threatening her by saying that she was going to show her what she did to her baby. The Cherokee Lane woman said that she is in fear for her life and is afraid that the Westside Avenue woman will kill her.
On January 12 at 8:16 a.m., a 45-year-old Shannon Ferguson Cove woman said a 29-year-old Gardner Street woman came to her house and threatened to assault her.
On January 12 at 7:53 a.m., a 51-year-old Marjane Street, Inverness man said someone stole three catalytic converters valued at $1,500 from underneath two vehicles owned by Simplot Grower Solutions on North Martin Luther King Drive. A 2013 Chevrolet truck and a 2013 Ford truck are listed as the vehicles.
