Indianola police made the following arrests:
On Saturday at 5:58 p.m., Patrick Terrell Hodges, 37, 207 Roosevelt St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said he stole approximately $65 worth of food and merchandise.
On Saturday at 2:51 p.m., Tiffany Latrice Earvin, 33, was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said she was seen stealing a 65-watt charger valued at $20.
On Thursday at 11:24 a.m., Zefairius Sharavion Jakiv Harvey, 25, 407 Hannah Ave., was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and possession of a controlled substance, after officers were called to his address about a disturbance. Harvey was reportedly using strong, foul language in the presence of his neighbors and the police officers. Reportedly, 0.1 ounces of marijuana was also seized.
On July 26 at 9:00 p.m., Maria De La Luz Rivas Villa, 35, C. Miguel Hidalgo 11, Loc El Tepozan, Mexico was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said he was standing at the self-checkout and saw that she was not scanning all of her items, but bagging all of them. She reportedly attempted to steal $59 worth of merchandise.
On Saturday at 6:55 a.m., Johnny Hughes, 52, 1206 Hummingbird Drive was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense). Officers were reportedly called to his home about a domestic situation in progress where his wife, a 54-year-old Hummingbird Drive woman, said he assaulted her the night before by bursting her lips, bruising her ear and scratching her all over her left arm.
On Friday at 2:00 p.m., Williams Sonny Keithley, 72, 155 Holmes Road was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said he stole $67 worth of merchandise.

On Saturday at 11:36 p.m., a 27-year-old Spoonbill Court woman said a 22-year-old Birdsong Street man assaulted her in the 900 block of U.S. Highway 82 by choking her.
On Monday at 10:52 p.m., officers were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital where a 20-year-old Mimosa Drive woman said that a 20-year-old Church Avenue man got angry with her and hit her in the mouth.
On July 25 at 5:18 p.m., officers were called to the KFC restaurant on U.S. Highway 82 because an employee, a 24-year-old Slim Street woman, was reportedly taking pictures of customers' cards.
On July 26 at 7:39 p.m., a 54-year-old Third Avenue woman said she wanted to press charges on a 27-year-old woman for taking her 2015 Toyota Highlander without her permission.
On July 26 at 3:01 p.m., a 65-year-old Janet Davis Circle man said a 35-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman stole his mail and used his checking account and routing numbers to fraudulently steal $2,510 to pay her car note.
On Monday at 10:31 a.m., a 59-year-old Chandler Street man said a 47-year-old Westside Avenue woman stole his SSI card and fraudulently took $430 off of it.
On July 27 at 4:24 p.m., officers were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital about an assault. A 22-year-old Cypress Bend Circle, Belzoni woman said one of her male coworkers assaulted her at the Dollar General Distribution Center by pushing her and choking her.
On July 27 at 4:15 p.m., a Barnes Street man said the windshield and driver's side mirror on his 2019 Dodge Ram pickup suffered damaged. He said his neighbor's children were outside throwing a football, which may have caused the damage.
On Friday at 1:35 p.m., A 42-year-old South Southwest Plaza man said someone broke into his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and stole $16 cash and two Spa speaker amps.
On July 27 at 2:50 p.m., a Double Quick employee said they wanted to press trespassing charges against a 51-year-old Torino Drive man who continually comes back onto the store’s property even after he has been told several times not to come back.
On Sunday at 5:04 p.m., a 30-year-old Coates Street woman said an 18-year-old Maple Avenue, Moorhead man continually trespasses by coming to her home after she has told him not to come back.
On July 27 at 4:25 p.m., a 38-year-old Wiggins Road woman said her boyfriend, a 32-year-old Wiggins Road man, assaulted her by holding her down on the couch by her hair, pointing a black gun in her face and threatening to kill her.
On Thursday at 5:23 p.m., a Forest Acres Road, Leland woman said someone fraudulently stole $664 from another woman in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 82 West.

On Saturday at 10:53 p.m., Arusher Sturdevant, 56, 300 Chester St., Ruleville was arrested and charged with domestic violence–simple assault.
On Sunday at 12:58 a.m., Bradley Rash, 32, 40 Washington Road, Cleveland was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no/expired driver's license, DUI (intoxicating liquor, drugs or controlled substance), no liability insurance card in the vehicle, improper equipment on the vehicle (unsafe condition of vehicle) and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
On Sunday at 9:40 p.m., Sha'Diamond Davis, 20, 121 Railroad Ave., Sunflower was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
On Monday at 7:19 a.m., Eugene Cannon, 61, 101 Joe's Lane, Drew was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense).
On Tuesday at 11:04 a.m., Destinee Walker, 35, 104 Janet Davis Circle was arrested and charged with counterfeit instrument (uttering forgery).
