A 19-year-old Ethel Waters Drive man, who reportedly had no driver's license, is the listed suspect after a traffic stop near Bates and Slim streets, on April 10 at 4:47 p.m., yielded a glass jar suspected to contain one gram of marijuana. Police made the stop after a vehicle ran a stop sign at the corner of Birdsong and Bates streets.
On Saturday at 6:41 a.m., a 58-year-old Church Street, Moorhead woman said a 22-year-old Garrard Road woman and a 32-year-old Beale Street man assaulted her in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

On Friday at 7:02 p.m., two people were reportedly arrested after police made a traffic stop in the area of Faisonia Street near Gresham Street because a front-seat passenger was not wearing a seatbelt. The suspect is a 51-year-old North Second Avenue, Cleveland man and a Deer Creek Circle, Arcola woman is listed as the driver. Police reportedly seized a dope pipe, and the report indicates infractions of no seatbelt, open container and possession of paraphernalia and possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

On Monday at 8:47 a.m., a 64-year-old Curtis Street man said someone stole his IPhone 7 valued at $850 while it was plugged in on a charger. He said when he went back to get it the phone was gone.
