Indianola police made the following arrests,
On July 27, Dieqiakus Minton, 24 was arrested and charged with domestic without injury (first offense).
On Aug. 2, Tracy Nevels, 27 was arrested and charged with telephone harassment
On Aug. 2, Mark L. Whitaker, 61 was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense)
On Aug. 6, Christopher Edwards, 38 was arrested and charged with contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a child and disorderly conduct - disturbing with loud music.
On Aug. 6, Henry Spearman, 29 was arrested and charged with expired driver's license, seatbelt violation and DUI (first offense).
On Aug. 5, Berry L. Whitaker, 55 was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct - disturbing the peace, failure to comply and possession of paraphernalia.
On Aug. 5, Carlos Willis, 30 was arrested and charged with seatbelt violation, no driver's license, no insurance and domestic violence without injury.
On Aug. 5, Stevie Woods, 24 was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct - failure to comply.
On Thursday at 11:07 a.m., police arrested Vendix Walker 35, 206 Birdsong St., and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, disorderly conduct disturbing the peace, seat belt violation, no driver's license, resisting or obstructing arrest and failure to yield to blue lights. Police seized 25 grams of marijuana, a set of digital scales, two $5 bills, a plastic bag and towed a 2005 Cadillac CST.

On Saturday at 3:05 a.m., a 34-year-old Oak Street woman told police someone had broken into her home and taken a black DVD player valued at $20, a pair of Huaraches valued at $150 plus some rings.
On Saturday at 7:27 p.m., police made a traffic stop on a 2013 Kia driven by a 24-year-old Alabama Drive, Greenville man and took a black Glock handgun and 2 grams of marijuana into evidence.
On Aug. 8 at 10:27 p.m., police were called to the 100 block of Lee Circle about the burglary of several cars including a 2016 Toyota Highlander and a 2011 Infiniti G37 owned by a 54-year-old Lee Circle woman and a 77-year-old Camellia Lane woman. Nothing was reported missing.
On Friday at 1:51 a.m., a 25-year-old Moore Street, Inverness woman told police that a 53-year-old MS 448 man threatened to hit her with his fist.
On Saturday at 7:11 a.m., police were called to the 100 block of Campbell Drive about a simple assault. The victim is listed as a 38-year-old South Al Thomas Street, Itta Bena woman and the suspect is a 45-year-old Oak Ridge Drive, Greenville woman.
On Aug. 9 at 4:35 p.m., a Double Quick employee told police she wanted to file charges on a 57-year-old North Davis Circle man for shoplifting. The man allegedly hid two packs of bacon and cold cuts in his clothes but was caught by the store manager.
On Monday at 10:36 p.m., police were called to the Quality Inn where a woman told them that a 36-year-old Garrard Avenue man, wearing a white T-shirt and dark jeans broke into a hotel room and took a 42-inch Samsung TV and some white building valued at $600.
On Aug. 8 at 10:42 p.m., police were called about a suspicious person in the area of Heathman and Chapman streets who possibly broke into some vehicles. The persons were caught and an 18-year-old Duncan Circle man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, a silver Titan .25 caliber handgun with off-white handle.
On Aug. 8 at 11:16 p.m., police were called to the 100 block of Lee Circle about a burglary of a vehicle where $12 was taken from a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe belonging to an 18-year-old MS 448 man.
On Aug. 8 at 8:32 a.m., police were called to the 400 block of U.S. 82, Liberty Health and Rehab about an auto burglary where nothing was reported taken. The victim is listed as a 43-year-old West Gresham Street woman.
On Aug. 9 at 8:29 p.m., a 44-year-old Gardner Street woman flagged police down about property damage. She told them that hitting a pothole on Wiggins Road damaged her 2006 Chevrolet Impala.
On Aug. 8 at 10:29 p.m., a 26-year-old East Percy Street man told police several juveniles had rambled through his 2007 Honda but didn't take anything. The suspects are listed as a 16-year-old Broadmoor Drive boy and an18-year-old Duncan Circle man.
On Aug. 9 at 4:10 p.m., police were called to the 500 block of Johnson Street about a burglary where a 32-year-old woman told them her 60-inch Element Flat screen TV was stolen.
On Aug. 8 at 3:23 p.m., police were called about a shoplifting. A Double Quick employee told police that she saw a 57-year-old North Davis Circle man on video hiding $8 worth of Carolina Pride chopped ham and bologna on Aug. 6.
On Aug. 9 at 2:34 p.m., a 50-year-old Janet Davis Circle man told police that he suspects a 57-year-old North Davis Circle man stole his debit card on Aug. 4.
On Friday at 3:19 p.m., police were called to the Double Quick at the corner of Catchings and U.S. 82 about a shoplifting. A woman told police that a man ran behind the store near the park with some beer.
On Aug. 8 at 10:39 p.m., while patrolling in the 300 block of Camellia Street police noticed that the door of a vehicle was open. A 16-year-old Broadmoor Street boy and an 18-year-old Duncan Street man are listed as suspects along with another man. And a 78-year-old woman is listed as the victim.
On Aug. 9 at 1:35 p.m., a policeman on patrol near Hannah and Cox streets saw two men standing on Cox Street in front of a vacant house and a 23-year-old E. Herman Johnson Street man was holding and smoking what appeared to be a marijuana cigar (blunt). The officer got out of his car and smelled what he believed to be marijuana. The report stated a half a gram of marijuana was seized.
On Saturday, at 2:55 p.m., a U.S. 82 woman told police that a man pulled up to the gas pump, pumped $20 worth of gas and pulled off.
On Friday at 11:38 a.m., a man told police that a 24-year-old Chapman Street man has been asked several times to leave Shoppers Value Food Store and he now wants to file charges on him for trespassing.
On Aug. 8 at 7:44 a.m., a 56-year-old East T. R. Clay Drive, Hollandale woman called police to Liberty Health and Rehab about an auto burglary.
On Thursday at 10:42 a.m., a 25-year-old woman told police that her 2009 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from the 200 block of Gardner Street.
On Aug. 8 at 10:14 am, police were called to the 200 block of East Percy Street about a forgery. A 79-year-old man is listed as the victim and a $8,988 check is the reported forged property.
On Saturday at 1:02 p.m. Police were called to the 400 block of Gresham Street by a 67-year-old East Gresham Street man who reported a 32-year-old woman trespassing.
On Sunday at 10:58 a.m., a woman told police about a shoplifting that happened on Thursday where a 46-year-old Grand Avenue woman was caught on video hiding two Glade air fresheners and 15 24-oz bottles of Corona beer.
On Thursday at 1:29 p.m. police were called to the 600 block of Church Street, Jesus is the Way Seventh Day Adventist Church about a burglary. A Hoover Street man told police that someone broke a window on the west side of the building out with a brick and took an amplifier.
On Saturday at 1:39 p.m., a 32-year-old Wiggins Road woman told police that a 38year-old Wiggins Road woman was harassing her.
On Saturday at 1:36 p.m. a 37-year-old Crane Street woman told police that when she got ready to go to work she noticed that someone had burglarized her cars and taken coins from her 2002 Volkswagen and a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze.
On Monday At 11:09 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of Mill Street about a gunshot victim that was called in by the Sunflower County Sheriff Department. The victim is listed as a 35-year-old Moorhead man. No suspect is listed.
On Aug. 8 at 9:16 a.m., police were called to the Double Quick on U.S. 82 at Catchings about a shoplifter who allegedly took hot dogs and bacon.
On Saturday at 2:04 p.m., police were called to the JMack store on the corner of Curtis and Garrard streets because people were loitering. Police talked to a 32-year-old Davis Cove man in a wheelchair at the laundromat next door and later issued him an appearance ticket for possession of marijuana. Police seized 3 grams of what is believed to be marijuana.
On Friday at 8:52 p.m., police were called to Walmart about a 20-old Moore Circle, Moorhead woman being robbed. A woman called and told police her granddaughter had been robbed at Walmart and the report lists a black Apple iPhone 7 plus as stolen.
On Aug. Friday at 1:56 a.m., police were called to the Double Quick at U.S. 82 about a shoplifting. A South Southwest Plaza man reported candy stolen.
On Aug. 9 at 12:37 a.m., a 25-year-old Curtis Street woman told police two men, a 23-year-old East Herman Johnson Street man and a 27-year-old Beale Street man robbed her. She told police the men shot her door in and stole her purse. She said they were wearing all black and driving a white Avalon with tinted windows.
On Saturday at 2:32 a.m., police were called to the 700 block of Hannah Street about a threatening where a 50-year-old Hough Street man threatened to shoot a Hannah Street woman.
On Saturday at 12:43 a.m., police were called to the Double Quick at Catchings and U.S. 82 because a 25-year-old Moore Street, Inverness woman was fighting with a 53-year-old security guard. The man told the dispatcher that the woman hit him with her car and left driving a black Chevrolet Impala.
On Aug. 10 at 9:09 p.m., police were called to the 600 block of Roosevelt Street about a burglary. A woman told police that another woman stole her car keys.
