The Indianola police made the following arrests,
On August 1, Brenda Kay Griffin 49, 319 Mill Street was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.
On August 1, Sharonda Herron 39 was arrested and charged with simple assault on a minor without injury.
On Saturday, police arrested Stevie Lavell Woods 24, 1411 Holly Drive, Moorhead and charged him with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and failure to comply with an officer. At 12:03 a.m., police were called to the Lovelace Shopping Center for crowd control where they allegedly told Woods to go inside or leave the parking lot and later arrested him.
On Sunday, police arrested Henry Spearman 29, 9 Pecan Drive, Cleveland and charged him with DUI— first offense, seat belt violation and expired driver's license. At 10:34 p.m., while at the red light near MS 448 and U.S. 82, police noticed a gray Nissan Altima next to their vehicle and saw that neither the driver nor the passengers had on seatbelts. They pulled the car over near French Road and later arrested Spearman.
On Friday, police arrested Freddie Lee Jones 33, 407 B.B. King Road and charged him with disorderly conduct, failure to comply with an officer, disturbing the peace and possession with delivery of paraphernalia. At 4:02 a.m., police were called to the corner of Hannah and Roosevelt streets because Jones was allegedly causing a disturbance.

On Friday at 1:38 p.m., a 28-year-old Beaverdam Road woman told police that when she tried to use her EPPI debit card at the Greenville Walmart on Thursday it was declined because someone had used her card and withdrew over $200.
On August 2 at 12:51 p.m., a Front Street man told police that a 36-year-old man used a counterfeit $5 bill to pay for a Powerade drink.
On Thursday at 7:44 p.m., a N. Southwest Plaza woman told police that a Stuart Street resident stole her 14-year-old son's IPhone 5SE with a lime green case while they were out playing at the basketball court.
On August 1 at 10:19 a.m., a woman told police that someone stole $100 worth of hubcaps from her Chevrolet Malibu.
On August 1 at 7:07 a.m., a Gillespie Drive woman told police that someone scratched her brother’s 2007 GMC Yukon truck.
On Saturday at 3:24 a.m., a 39-year-old Hannah Street woman told police that a 36-year-old Roosevelt Street man assaulted her by hitting her with a closed fist and a broom.
On Sunday at 7:37 a.m., a 79-year-old East Gresham Street woman told police that someone went into her 2018 Ford van, which was unlocked but nothing was listed as missing.
On Monday at 4:39 a.m., while making a traffic stop near Garrard Road and South Walker Street for not using a left turn signal. Police stopped a 49-year-old South Walker Street woman and realized she had a warrant and later charged her with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to test.
On Sunday at 7:15 p.m., a U.S. 82 Double Quick store employee told police that someone stole some candy.
On Thursday at 1:40 p.m., a 20-year-old Alexander Street woman told police someone threatened her.
On Saturday at 11:41 p.m., police were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital emergency room with a 20-year-old Birdsong Street man and a 20-yearold Little Milton Road, Inverness man were reported as victims and a 32-year-old Beale Street man and a 22-year-old Chandler Street woman are listed as suspects in a simple assault. The report also lists $430 cash stolen along with some jewelry and Promethazine cough medicine.
On Thursday at 2:25 p.m., a Torino Drive man told police that a 40-year-old Gardner Street man came to his home and assaulted him by hitting him in the head several times with his elbow. The report also lists a black Assurance Wireless phone as stolen.
On Saturday at 1:46 p.m., a 42-year-old W. Augusta Street woman told police that a 24-year-old Cleveland Street woman and a 22-year-old Continental Cove woman trespassed on her property and created a disturbance at her home. An 18-year-old Easy Street man said he was assaulted by the 22-year-old woman and the 22-year-old woman claims she was assaulted by the man.
On August 2 at 2:56 a.m., a 60-year-old U.S. 82 man told police that a 22-year-old Cleveland Street woman damaged his window air conditioner and the door to an apartment.
On Thursday at 7:26 p.m., a 30-year-old Airport Road woman told police that her child's father, a 37-year-old East Elmwood Street man refuses to give her 2001 GMC Yukon back to her.
On August 1 at 9:58 p.m., a 31-year-old Bates Avenue man told police that a 37-year-old Spruce Street man was standing outside of his house.
On Sunday at 1:53 a.m., 65-year-old West Augusta Street man told police his Chevy Traverse had been burglarized, but nothing was taken.
On August 1 at 7:08 a.m., a 51-year-old Broadmoor Street woman told police that someone burglarized a storage shed and a green Apollo Dirt Bike DB-34 was missing
On August 2 at 3:57 p.m., a woman called police to the 400 block of Mimosa Drive about a threatening involving a 17-year-old boy where a 45-year-old man is listed as the suspect.
On August 2 at 1:05 p.m., a 42-year-old Oak Street man told police that as he was talking to some friends, a 17-year-old Oak Street boy threatened to shoot him, the boy's mother told police that the man threatened to shoot her son, charges were filed.

On August 3, Derrick Gardner, Sr., 48, 1008 Battle St., was arrested and charged with failure to pay child support.
On August 4, Sagar Kiran Patel 23, 900 South Davis Ave., Cleveland was arrested and charged with speeding, 88 mph in a 55 zone and no insurance.
On August 5, Berry Louie Whitaker 55, Faisonia Avenue was arrested and charged with DUI— first offense.
On August 6, Earnest T. Triplett 24, 1006 Johnny Russell Drive, Moorhead was arrested and charged with DUI—first offense and speeding, 75 mph in a 55 zone.
On August 7, Cathy Parks Fairley 49, 200 South Walker St., was arrested and charged with DUI—first offense, shoplifting second offense, trespassing upon enclosed land, no driver's license, no insurance, seat belt violation and interference with traffic control.
On August 7, Patrick Keith Reeder 24, Highland Drive, Lake Providence, LA was arrested and charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
On August 7, Everett Wilson 50, 924 Redding Street, Ruleville was arrested and charged with failure to pay child support.
