Indianola police made the following arrests:
On Aug. 13, Laranado Snipes, 19, was arrested and charged with simple assault on a minor with injury.
On Aug. 13, Shirley Stanford, 45, was arrested and charged with simple assault with attempt to cause bodily harm.
On Aug. 12, Danielle Johnson, 25, was arrested and charged with simple assault with attempt to cause bodily harm.
On Aug. 15, Cameron Green, 38, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, no driver’s license, and expired tag.
On Aug. 16, Kaplan Mitchell, 48, was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense), resisting arrest and failure to obey police.
On Aug. 15, police arrested Jeremy Woods, 31, 507 Forest St., and charged him with armed robbery. At 6:34 p.m., they were called to investigate an armed robbery involving a minor where the victim is listed as a 14-year-old Spoonbill Court boy. The charges were later dropped and according to officials, Woods was released.
On Sunday, police arrested Lamarcus Raquael Jacob 132 Brantley Circle and charged him with driving under the influence, no driver's license, and improper equipment. At 10:45 p.m., officers pulled over a vehicle on U.S. 82 because of a left front and back light being out and discovered that the driver had been drinking, so they tested the driver and charged him.

On Saturday at 12: 28 a.m., police were called to the 700 block of Quick Circle regarding a burglary where a 28-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man are listed as the victims and a white Xbox, two black Roku devices, two ZTE cell phones, two RCA tablets, two Xbox game controllers, credit cards, Mississippi ID cards, a wallet, an Amazon Fire Stick and Xbox game discs were reported stolen. The report indicates that bolt cutters, a metal rod and a red handle knife were recovered at the scene.
On Aug. 16 at 7:10 p.m., police were called to the 100 block of South Sunflower Avenue, Delta’s Corner Restaurant, regarding malicious mischief where a front door window was reported as damaged and destroyed.
On Monday at 7:55 a.m., police were called to the 600 block of Hampton Street about a burglary where no forced entry was noticed but a 61-year-old man reported an LG upright refrigerator freezer and a LG dishwasher stolen.
On Saturday at 1:33 p.m., police responded to the Jesus is the Way Seventh Day Adventist Church about property damage where a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, owned by a Cleveland man, was parked and someone or something hit the rear driver side window causing it to break.
On Friday at 8:59 a.m., police were called to the 600 block of North Sunflower Avenue, Priority One Insurance, where a woman told them that she saw what appeared to be three bullet holes in the front window of her business.
On Friday at 6:23 p.m., police were called to the 600 block of Cleveland Street to serve a high-risk warrant on a man and noticed that the power meter box had an illegal connection when they arrived.
On Thursday at 7:10 p.m., a 22-year-old B. Earnest White Street, Belzoni woman called police to the 600 block of U.S. 82 west about malicious mischief. The woman told police that someone took her LG cellphone and broke it by throwing it on the ground.
On Saturday at 11:43 p.m., police were called to investigate malicious mischief where someone had taken both mirrors from a 2015 Nissan owned by a 32-year-old S. Southwest Plaza woman.
On Aug. 16 at 8:57 a.m., a couple told police someone had tampered with a light meter on a house in the 600 block of Jefferson Street. A 38-year-old woman is listed as the suspect.
On Sunday at 11:30 p.m., police were called to investigate a threatening and harassment. A 38-year-old Brantley Circle woman is listed as the victim and an 18-year-old Stuart Street man is listed as the suspect.
On Saturday at 5:44 p.m., a Brantley Circle woman told police that an 18-year-old Stuart Street man threw a metal object at her daughter but the object hit her 2006 Chevrolet, causing damage.
On Thursday at 5:03 p.m., police were called to investigate a theft where the victim is listed as a 50-year-old North Davis Circle woman who reported a Lorcin .380 handgun missing.
Correction: the Aug. 17 edition of Cops and Robbers in the E-T reported that On Aug. 5, Berry L. Whitaker, 55 was arrested and charged several infractions including possession of paraphernalia, Indianola police report that the charge was incorrectly applied and that Whitaker was not guilty of that violation.

On Aug. 17, Jacqueline Lashae Brooks 32, 1109 Henderson St., was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple domestic violence.
On Aug. 18, Kaci Lynn Thompson 28, 1418 Kenley Lane, Clay City, Illinois was arrested and charged with trespassing upon enclosed land.
On Aug. 18, Sherman Dewayne Reece 42, 107 Birdsong St. was arrested and charged with probation violation.
On Aug. 19, Jimmy Townsend Jr., 46, Holly Drive, Moorhead was arrested and charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and false information.
On Aug. 20, Byron Johnson 28, 1538 Allen Drive, Clarksdale was arrested and charged with domestic violence and simple assault.
On Aug. 20, Brian Robinson 31, 3556 Four Mile Road, Inverness was arrested and charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
On Aug. 22, Jamonquavious Curry 19, 315 Johnson Ave., was arrested and charged with contempt of court (bench warrant).
On Aug. 22, Anthony Treal Franklin 36, 304 Porter Drive was arrested and charged with aggravated assault .
