Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Dec. 19, Christopher Hall, 37, 507 Wiggins Road, Cleveland, was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense). At 11:38 a.m., a Walmart employee said Hall was seen hiding a 7-inch RCA tablet, two GE LED light bulbs and a Reach BT MP3 player in his jacket pocket and attempted to leave the store.
On Dec. 19, Albert Singleton, 54, 1111 Ethel Waters Drive was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense). At 12:04 p.m., a Double Quick employee alleged that Singleton hid 4 packs of Folgers coffee and left the store without paying for them.
On Friday Marquavious D. Johnson, 18, 603 Hannah St., was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance. At 2:43 p.m., someone said they heard shots fired near the B.B. King Park and it was a man wearing a black hoodie and red shorts. Police found Johnson near there, arrested him and seized 44.4 grams of cocaine, 8.3 grams of marijuana and a 9mm Ruger.
On Friday, Robert Earl Price, 44, 619 Hoover St., was arrested and charged with resisting or obstructing arrest, disorderly conduct—disturbing the peace and simple assault to put fear by physical menace. At 11:50 p.m., police were called to McDonald’s about a domestic dispute.

On Dec. 14 at 6:46 p.m., a 25-year-old Beaverdam Road man said someone stole his Stihl leaf blower.
On Dec. 18 at 4:15 p.m., a Walmart employee said a man wearing black coveralls, who was later identified as a 27-year-old Nichols Avenue, Greenwood man, stole $52 worth of playing cards.
On Dec. 19 at 9:03 p.m., a 54-year-old Cadillac Cove woman said someone stole her bag of medications, which included 90 doses of Lexapro, 60 doses of Flexoril, 60 doses of Oxycodone and 90 doses of Lyrica, out of her aunt’s car while it was parked at Brother’s Discount store.
On Dec. 20 at 10:58 a.m., a Walmart employee said an 18-year-old Bates Tripplet Road woman stole a blue Dual USB slim design battery pack, a black USB phone charger, a black IWorld Echo earbuds with microphone and a$10 pack of Jack’s Link beef jerky.
On Dec. 20 at 8:57 p.m., a Walmart employee said an 18-year-old Lee Street man stole a pair of brown Timberlake boots.
On Dec. 20 at 7:47 a.m., a Scott Petroleum employee said someone drove off without paying for gas.
On Dec 20 at 10 a.m., a 64-year-old Whinery Street woman said someone stole the electrical meter off of her house.
On Thursday at 6:47 p.m., a 63-year-old Chapman Street man said someone was harassing him.
On Thursday at 11:50 a.m., a Double Quick employee said a 52-year-old B.B. King Road man was trespassing after notice of non-permission.
On Friday at 10 a.m., a 50-year-old North Davis Circle woman said someone broke the back driver’s side window out of her 2004 Olds Alero and that someone had stolen her expiration sticker from her tag.
On Friday at 6:45 p.m., a 57-year-old Fourth Avenue woman said someone stole her silver Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge while she was at Walmart.
On Saturday at 2:59 p.m., a 2005 GMC, driven by a Sunflower Street, Belzoni woman and a 2009 Chevy Tahoe, driven by a Choctaw Circle woman collided in the McDonald’s parking lot, causing minor damage but no injuries.
On Saturday at 1:40 p.m., a Dollar General store employee told police that a woman, later identified as a 27-year-old Gray Street woman, was in the store shoplifting. When the woman saw the officers come in she then disposed of the items on various aisles in the store. She allegedly attempted to steal several Airwick air fresheners, Carmex lip balm and Playboy body spray.
On Saturday at 7:33 a.m., while on patrol, officers reported to city workers that a highway sign and pole was knocked down in the median at the U.S. 82/U.S. 49 intersection.
On Saturday at 3:41 p.m., a 36-year-old East Percy Street woman said her husband, a 30–year-old East Percy Street man assaulted her by pushing her down, which caused her to hit her head on the corner of the wall near the kitchen in their home.
On Sunday at 9:23 a.m., a 37-year-old Cox Street woman said a 36-year-old Gardner Street man came through her bedroom window and assaulted her. The woman’s 12-year-old daughter then assaulted the man by stabbing him with a knife.
On Christmas Day at 11:54 a.m., a 62-year-old Cox Street man said a 29-year-old Cox Street man assaulted him.
On Christmas Day at 7:19 a.m., a 61-year-old Janet Davis Circle resident said a 54-year-old Capshaw Drive woman came to their home and would not leave and she also stole $400 from them.
On Tuesday at 12:48 a.m., a 25-year-old Roosevelt Street woman said five people were fighting and possibly had weapons. The report lists a 26-year-old Roosevelt Street man as a suspect.
On Tuesday at 1:21 a.m., a 69-year-old Broadmoor Drive man said someone damaged the front hood of his 1983 Lincoln MK6 by pouring some type of liquid on it.
On Tuesday at 9:52 a.m., a 74-year-old Kinlock Road woman said someone stole the right rear tire off of her 2002 Ford Taurus.

On Dec. 19, Selvin Steen, 42, 419 Adair Ave., was arrested and charged with trespassing after notice.
On Dec. 21, Shelby Watson, 44, 1306 Alla Court, Greenwood, was arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping.
On Dec. 22, Kevion McClain, 19, 113 Railroad Ave., was arrested and charged with burglary—breaking and entering.
