Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Dec. 30, Jeralynn Ashley, 34, was arrested and charged with no driver’s license, open container and DUI (first offense).
On Dec. 30, Ora Hayes, 50, was arrested and charged with simple assault—without injuries and harassment.
On Dec. 30, George Morales, 30, was arrested and charged with domestic violence—without injury (first offense).
On Dec. 30, Terri Bryant, 36, was arrested and charged with two counts of false pretenses and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
On Jan. 2, Samuel Minor, 24, was arrested and charged with trespassing after notice of non-permission.
On Jan. 3, James Hines, 31, was arrested and charged with simple assault with injuries.
On Thursday, Stephanie Gentry, 41, 1253 Dublin St., Greenville was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) and having a warrant for another agency.
On Thursday at 6:05 p.m., Jeremiah Deshawn Redding, 20, 311 Ricks Street, Shaw was arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery after he allegedly took a 37-year-old Jeff Davis Drive woman’s purse in the Walmart parking lot. The red Dooney and Bourke drawstring purse reportedly contained $100 cash, car and house keys, an insurance card, Walmart discount card and various identification cards.
On Friday at 9:46 p.m., Austin Lee Duck, 58, 111 Curtis Street was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense) and reckless driving (first offense) after police spotted him traveling south on Alexander Street on the wrong side of the road, while they were patrolling the area.

On Friday at 10:48 p.m., a Wiggins Road man said an East South Street, Saint Anne, Illinois woman damaged a 2017 Chevy Suburban owned by Holdings, EAN, LLC.
On Jan. 2 at 12:42 p.m., a 25-year-old Capshaw Street man said a 22-year-old Galaxie Drive man and a 45-year-old Galaxie Drive man assaulted him.
On Thursday at 5:52 p.m., a South Sunflower County Hospital employee said an eight-year-old North Walker Street boy had been shot with a BB gun.
On Thursday at 6:09 p.m., a 52-year-old West Davis Street man and a 53-year-old West Davis Circle man said they were wrestling after police were called to their home because of an assault.
On Sunday at 8:16 a.m., a Wilson Street, Shaw man called police to the Sunflower Avenue/East Percy Street area and said an 18-year-old Cleveland Street woman had a knife and tried to cut the rear driver’s side tire on his Chevy Cobalt causing damage and also stuck the knife in the ignition and jumped on the hood. He told police he only wanted to file a report.
On Sunday at 6:50 p.m., a 25-year-old Westside Avenue woman said a 21-year-old Maybelle Street man, an 18-year-old Birdsong Street man and a 15-year-old Maybelle Street boy snatched her purse, said to contain over $1,000, from her shoulder.
On Friday at 7:19 p.m., a child protection services worker said a girl ran away from the group home she was assigned to in Meridian.
On Friday at 12:48 p.m., an Olive Street, Moorhead woman and a Barnes Street woman were involved in a two-car accident at the Double Quick on Second Street but only minor damage was done to the vehicles and no injuries were reported.
On Saturday at 11:51 p.m., a 42-year-old Gardner Street man said a 31-year-old Coates Street man assaulted him by hitting him in the face with something and then shot at him and his wife, a 34-year-old Gardner Street woman.
On Monday at 2:26 p.m., a 34-year-old Gardner Street woman said someone stole her black SIG Sauer 522 gun.
On Jan. 3 at 4:26 p.m., a 60–year-old Winstonville man said someone broke into his house on Jefferson Street Annex and stole appliances.
On Friday at 12:05 p.m., a 34-year-old Jeff Davis Drive man said a 34-year-old man assaulted him while he was at the hospital visiting his wife. He said the man was in the room with his wife and he asked him to leave.
On Jan. 2 at 7:34 p.m., a 28-year-old Wiggins Road woman said a 39-year-old Canaan Street, Shaw man damaged her 2006 Mitsubishi after police were called to Walmart and followed her home.
On Jan. 3 at 6:25 p.m., police were called to the south Sunflower County Hospital because a 30-year-old Whittington Drive man was there with a gunshot wound to his arm.
On Thursday at 2:32 p.m., a 70-year-old Cleveland Street man said someone stole $1,353 off of his check/credit card.
On Jan. 1 at 6:38 p.m., an 18-year-old Baird Street woman said an Indianola man used a brick to damage her 2012 Chevy Malibu and an Apple IPhone 7 plus is also reported as damaged.
On Monday at 6:35 p.m., a 27-year-old Shannon Ferguson Road man said a 25-year-old Fourth Avenue woman was harassing him.
On Jan. 3 at 9:44 p.m., a Camellia Street man said his 14-year-old daughter was missing. She later came home and admitted to her father and officers that she had been out and sexually active with a 19-year-old Greenville man who picked her up down the street from her home and dropped her back off.
On Sunday at 4:54 a.m., a 48-year-old Hampton Street man said someone shot into his home.
On Saturday at 1:11 a.m., a 49-year-old Garrard Avenue man told police officers at the hospital that unknown persons attacked him while he was walking along Chandler Street.
On Jan. 3 at 12:05 p.m., a Walmart employee said a 41-year-old Clifford Road, Blaine woman stole $17 worth of merchandise.
On Jan. 2 at 3:52 p.m., a 45-year-old Capshaw Drive woman said her 25-year-old son took her purse and ran.
On Jan. 3 at 11:38 a.m., a 27-year-old Fourth Avenue man said a 23-year-old Parchman Road, Parchman woman keeps harassing him by calling his phone non-stop, making intimidating statements about him even after he has asked her at least three times to stop.
On Jan. 2 at 6:39 p.m., a 28-year-old McDonald’s employee said that on Dec. 21, around 4:30 p.m., a boy caused her arm to be bruised by slamming it against the window when he ran by and tried to grab a bag from her hand that she was passing to a customer, when she was working the drive-thru.
On Friday at 11:22 a.m., a 27-year-old Kinlock Road woman said a 29-year-old Hoover Street man was harassing her.
On Thursday at 3:29 p.m., a 38-year-old woman said a 28-year-old North Cliff Finch Street, Sunflower woman was threatening her by telephone.
On Friday at 11:33 a.m., police were called to the 700 block of Hoover Street after someone in a white pickup truck backed into and damaged a woman’s 2007 Fiat and left the scene.

On Thursday, Tamekal T. Sanders, 32, 410 Tolbert St., Ruleville was arrested and charged with contempt of court—failure to pay child support.
On Friday, Jeremy Page, 28, 114 Wilson Circle., Belzoni was arrested and charged with introduction of contraband.
On Friday, Eleasia Calvert, 21, 39 Crouches Road, Moorhead was arrested and charged with simple assault.
