The following persons were booked into the Sunflower County Jail June 27 to July 10:
On June 27, Terrence Sinclair Young, 27, 312 Tucker St., Drew was arrested and charged with malicious mischief and probation violation.
On June 27, Mark Lester Whitaker, 61, 646 West Trotter St., Lot 7, Monticello, Ark., was arrested and charged with petit larceny and trespassing.
On June 28, Stanley Renee Peterson, 49, 305 Alexander St., Shaw, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.
On June 28, Electra McClellan, 41, 620 Gresham St., was arrested and charged with embezzlement.
On July 5, Adrian Laray Smith, 32, 215 Wiggins Road, Apt., 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
On July 1, Travis Lee Whitaker, 34, 86 Bud Smith Road, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace
On July 6, W.T. Rounds Jr., 36, 575 McDaniel Road, Isola, was arrested and charged with burglary all but a dwelling. At 2:13 a.m., police were called to the Dollar General store about a burglary. They found a front glass door broken and items were taken.
On July 6, Freddie Lorenzo Beddingfield, 41, 207 Janet Davis Circle, was arrested and charged with DUI.
On July 7, Richard O'Neal Jr., 25, 214 Patricia Drive, was arrested and charged with drug court violation, 2 days to serve.

On June 30, Jacqueline Lashae Brooks, 32, 1109 Henderson St., Greenwood, was arrested and charged with simple domestic violence.
On June 27, Corwyn Haslett, 26, 1209 Fourth Ave., was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injury (first offense).
On June 27, Nikki Johnson, 28, 206 S. Southwest Plaza was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injury (first offense).
On June 29, Robert Lee Brinch, 61, 308 Henderson St., was arrested and charged with contempt of court.
On June 30, Ashley Greene, 30, was arrested and charged with contempt of court
On July 4, Joseph Peterson, 38, 211 Hoover St., Belzoni, was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense) and careless driving.
On June 25, Joshua Juwan Walker, 20, 114 Carver St., was arrested and charged with failure to yield at blue light and improper equipment. At 9:17 p.m., officers said they were on a traffic stop but Walker wouldn’t stop. He turned down College Street and police temporarily lost sight of him before seeing him again near Westside and College, the car then attempted to turn on Carver Street but couldn’t and ended up turning onto Curtis where two men jumped out and ran.
On July 4, Angela Meshelle Watkins, 41, 105 Galaxy Drive, was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense) and improper turning at an intersection.
On July 2, Cedricka Wright, 19, was arrested and charged with no insurance and no driver's license.
On July 8, Emmett Earl Bryant, 50, 604 Hough St., was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and public profanity.
On July 9, Richard Cattlidge, 29, was arrested and charged with DUI, no driver's license and improper equipment.
On July 7, Christopher Shawn Faint Jr., 20, 107 Whittington Drive, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
On July 8, Charles Johnson, 511 Beaverdam Road, was arrested and charged with simple domestic violence.
On July 8, Latonya Johnson, 31, 511 Beaverdam Road, was arrested and charged with simple domestic violence.
On July 8, James Rumpson, 55, was arrested and charged with telephone harassment.
On July 6, Gregory Martin, 51, was arrested and charged with two counts of contempt of court.

On July 6, Walter Roscoe III, 47, was arrested and charged with harassment, protection violation, simple assault with attempt to cause bodily harm, domestic violence without injury and telephone harassment.
Police responded to the following calls:
On July 1 at 1:05 p.m., a Walker Street woman said her 10-year-old son was punched and shoved to the ground by a 16-year-old boy on Friday around 6 p.m.
On July 1 at 5 a.m., an anonymous caller said cars had been burglarized in the Scattergood Apartments parking lot and that the suspect had on red shorts and a dark -colored shirt. After searching all of the cars in the lot, police found two cars that appeared to have been rambled through because the storage compartments were up and the glove boxes were open. A Sam Lacey Drive man and a Broadmoor Drive man are the listed victims.
On June 30 at 11:02 p.m., in the 400 block of East Gresham Street, a 51-year-old Airport Road man said that a 32-year-old Henderson Street woman refused to give him his keys and then punched him in the mouth, causing minor injuries.
On June 30 at 5:52 p.m., a Pine Street, Moorhead woman said she found her car damaged when she was leaving to make a deposit for work. A 66-year-old Jeff Davis Circle man with a Chevrolet pickup is the listed suspect.
On June 30 at 7:11 p.m., a Jordan Drive woman said someone damaged the left rear fender on her 2012 Chevy Malibu, but she didn’t notice it until she had gotten home from work, so she doesn’t know who did it.
On June 29 at 1:39 p.m., a 49-year-old Crane Street woman said that a 40-year-old Birdsong Street man drove past her residence, flipped her “the bird” and pointed his finger at her as if it were a gun.
On June 29 at 12:18 p.m., a 31-year-old Gateway Drive, Biloxi woman said when she returned to her 2014 Chevy Malibu after leaving Walmart she found that it had been damaged.
On June 29 at 11:05 a.m., a 59-year-old city employee said that while he was mowing on Kinlock Road the mower threw an object and broke the glass out of a 1996 Thunderbird owned by a 65-year-old Kinlock Road man.
On June 29 at 2:56 p.m., a 50-year-old Faison Avenue man said someone stole his oxygen tank, which he left in his car while he was at his girlfriend’s house.
On Monday at 7:34 a.m., police were called to Carver Elementary School regarding a burglary where 27 iPads were stolen. Two 15-year-old Roosevelt Street boys were and a 13-year-old Brantley Circle boy were taken into custody and 25 of the iPads were recovered.
On Monday at 1:06 p.m., a 47-year-old Carver Street man said when he came home his two sons were arguing over a game. The man said when he tried to get his 14-year-old son to stop cussing, and the boy hit him with a fist in the left eye and a physical fight ensued.
On Monday at 7:41 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Broadmoor Drive, Scattergood Apartments, about property damage. A 40-year-old woman said someone shattered the front windshield on her 2010 Chevrolet Malibu with an unknown object.
On Monday at 4:25 p.m., police were called to Continental Cove about a simple assault where the victim is listed as a 27-year-old Barnes Street woman and the suspect is a 50-year-old Continental Cove man.
On Monday at 12:43 p.m., a 59-year-old Johnson Street woman said her daughter went outside and found that her 2014 Volkswagen had been keyed on the driver’s side and the rear.
On Thursday at 4:12 a.m., police were called to the 200 block of Gardner Street about a burglary where someone pried open the rear door of a home belonging to an 18-year-old woman.
On Friday at 7:14 a.m., a 41-year-old Westside Avenue man and a 38-year-old Westside Avenue woman said someone went into their unlocked 2000 Chevy Tahoe and stole a JVC radio/CD player plus several brands of hand tools and attempted to enter their home but was unable to do so.
On Friday at 7:31 p.m., an 8th Street, Oxford woman said she lost her diamond ring with an 18 karat white gold lady’s stone with a bright polish finish.
On Friday police recovered a Winchester rifle from two teenagers in the area of Battle and Duke Street after a concerned citizen spotted a 16-year-old Broadmoor Drive boy and an 11-year-old Oak Street boy walking behind the Scattergood Apartment building with it and told police one of them had the gun stuffed in his pants.
On Friday at 9:49 p.m., a home in the 200 block of Maybelle Street belonging to a 61-year-old woman was broken into and rambled through but nothing appeared to be missing. Police listed a 15-year-old Maybelle Street boy as a suspect.
On July 5 at 12:55 p.m., police were called to investigate a burglary at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Church Street.
On Friday at 6:05 a.m., a 72-year-old Forrest Street man said someone stole a 1976 silver Gran Prix from his home.
On Friday at 6:34 a.m., police received a information from the Clarksdale police that a silver 2013 Toyota LLX belonging to a 30-year-old Stonewall Street woman had been involved in a wreck in Clarksdale and left the scene. The owner of the car said the car had been stolen from her home between 9:40 p.m. and 7 a.m.
On Thursday at 12:36 p.m., police were called to investigate shots fired into a vehicle in the100 block of Lucille Street. A 20-year-old Porter Drive man is listed as the suspect and a 26-year-old Lucille Street man is the reported victim.
On July 5 at 7:39 p.m., police responded to the Hannah and Roosevelt Street area because a 30-year-old S. Southwest Plaza man with outstanding warrant was seen.
