Indianola police made the following arrests:
On July 19, police arrested Clinton Evans 38, 110 Moore St., Itta Bena, and charged him with shoplifting (first offense). At 10:10 p.m. Walmart employees called police about a shoplifting where a can of insulation foam sealant was allegedly stolen.
On Thursday, Jakevius Davis, 21, was arrested and charged with simple assault with attempt to cause bodily harm.
On Saturday, police arrested Korben Chatman 19, 106 Foxlane, Belzoni, and charged him with shoplifting (first offense). At 12:24 p.m., a Walmart employee called police and told them Chatman had allegedly taken pellets valued at $16, CO2 bottles valued at $2 and $13 worth of other air gun accessories.
On Tuesday, police arrested Rodriecus Marquel Hines 32, 512 Westside Ave., and charged him with disorderly conduct - failure to comply with an officer. At 3:30 a.m., police were called to the Double Quick/Church’s Chicken restaurant regarding an unwanted person and he was arrested.

On July 18 at 5:06 p.m., a Murphy USA employee told police someone put $22 worth of gas in a white car and left without paying.
On July 18 at 8:26 a.m., a 51-year-old North Southwest Plaza woman told police that someone kicked in the rear door of her house in the 600 block of Cox Street, but didn’t take anything.
On July 18 at 10:48 a.m., police were called to Hanna Street, where a West Herman Johnson Street man told them that one of the city vehicles caused damage to his vehicle.
On July 19 at 10:50 p.m., a 23-year-old Kinlock Road woman told police that someone cut her screen on the rear window of her apartment.
On July 19 at 10:52 a.m., a Sunflower Avenue man told police that while he was on a work site his brother-in-law, a 51-year-old Walker Street man, threatened him by saying, “You just stay here until I get back.”
On July 19 at 8:58 a.m., police were called regarding trouble with a juvenile. An Oak Street woman said her 13-year-old daughter ran away from home at around 10:40 the night before, but she found the girl the next morning around 8:30 near Chandler Street.
On Thursday at 5:31 a.m., a Dollar General Store employee told police that someone threw a brick through the front store window.
On Thursday at 5:53 p.m., a 60-year-old Pershing Avenue man told police that someone stole his 55-inch JVC television.
On Friday at 7:29 a.m., a 47-year-old man called police to the 600 block of Beaverdam Road and told them someone had spray-painted his 2013 Cadillac during the night.
On Friday at 6:12 p.m., a 45-year-old Saint Anthony Street, Greenville man called police to the Walmart parking lot and told them that an 18-year-old Airport Road man damaged his 2011 Ford Escape with his 1995 Chevrolet pickup.
On Friday at 7:47 a.m., a 42-year-old West Augusta Street woman called police to the 600 block of Beaverdam Road because someone damaged her 2007 Toyota Camry.
On Friday at 3:15 p.m., an 18-year-old Baird Avenue woman told police that two women have been harassing her on her job. Two Wiggins Road women are listed on the report.
On Friday at 4:22 p.m., police were called to Church Street because someone said a man wearing a red striped shirt and blue jeans with a black rag on his head was waving a gun in the air. They later found out it was a toy gun. The report lists a 41-year-old Adair Street man as a suspect.
On Friday at 9:21 a.m., a 40-year-old Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Sunflower man told police that his identity had been stolen and used to get student loans. An Indianola man and two women are listed as suspects.
On Saturday at 6:32 p.m., a 21-year-old Porter Drive woman told police a 22-year-old Central Street, Metcalfe resident was harassing her.
On Saturday at 9:34 a.m., a 42-year-old West Augusta Street woman told police that someone punctured the two driver’s side tires on her 2007 Toyota Camry.
On Sunday at 8:32 a.m., a Hull Circle resident told police that someone slashed two car tires.
On Sunday at 8:08 p.m. a U.S. 82 man said someone threw a brick against the window of Fred’s Dollar Store, causing the window to crack.
On Sunday at 2:04 a.m., a Double Quick employee told police that someone had shoplifted an 18-ounce Bud Ice beer from the store in the 800 block of U.S. 82.
On Monday at 4:14 p.m., a 55-year-old Spoonbill Court man called police to the 600 block of Garrard and told them that someone stole two tires from his 2001 Dodge.
On Sunday at 8:30 p.m., a Huddle House employee told police that a woman ordered food for her and two children, but refused to pay for the food when she finished eating.

On July 19, Gregory Martin 51, 1205 B.B. King Road, was arrested and charged with failure to comply with an officer.
On Thursday, Aspen Myers 20, 31 Rayan St., Belzoni, was arrested and charged with malicious mischief over $1,000.
On Thursday, Maurice Eubanks III, 20, 7 Eubanks Road, Ruleville, was arrested and charged with contempt of court.
On Friday, Dominique Shaw 19, 520 MLK Road, Sunflower, was arrested and charged with malicious mischief.
On Friday, Eleanor Kaye Kelly 44, 107 Tim Drive, Apt. 11, Nettleton, was arrested and charged with DUI (second offense), no insurance, no driver’s license and improper equipment.
On Saturday, Jaychia Chacaroline Tanner 27, 104 Isola St., Cleveland, was arrested and charged with burglary.
On Monday, Louis Terrell Glenn Jr., 21, 204 Rule Circle, Ruleville, was arrested and charged with arson of a dwelling.
On Tuesday, George Michael Nickel 28, 1989 Mississippi 446, Boyle, was arrested and charged with threatening, and willful trespassing.
On Tuesday, Meaghann Bollinger, 26, 22887 Mount Home Church Road, Morganton, N.C., was arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft.
