Indianola police made the following arrests,
On May 14 at 6:49 p.m., Samuel Joseph Harris, 21, 3836 U.S. 82, lot 22, Leland was arrested and charged with DUI after an accident in the 500 block of Beaverdam Road involving a 2003 Cadillac Escalade.
On Monday at 12:17 p.m., Raven Symone Anderson, 26, 603 Holly Drive was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense). Demarcus Quoshon Johnson 26, 603 Holly Drive was also arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense) after police were called to their address and found them yelling and screaming and both said they had been assaulted by the other and damage was done to a vehicle.
On Thursday at 11:57 a.m., Dolores Hemphill, 56, 607 Chandler Street and McKinley Barnes 56, 607 Chandler Street were arrested and charged with aggravated domestic violence and domestic violence with injuries (first offense) respectively after police were called to the 600 block of the street and Hemphill said her boyfriend assaulted her, and then left, but when he came back she shot at him.
On May 16 at 2:48 p.m., Mary M. Woods, 36, 583 Maxwell Road, Moorhead was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) after a Walmart employee said she stole $7 worth of merchandise from the store.

On May 15 at 7:01 p.m., a Walmart employee said a 33-year-old George Lee Avenue, Belzoni woman stole an assortment of clothing items including shorts and shirts valued at $71 and left the store without paying for them before police arrived.
On Thursday at 5:42 p.m., a Walmart employee said a 33-year-old George Lee Avenue, Belzoni woman and a 14-year-old C.C. Road Belzoni boy where in the store placing items in a bag and not paying for them. They reportedly stole a $198 smart board, Coke products, Sunny D products, Gain detergent, trash bags and other household items, plus dishwashing liquid and assorted clothing items all valued at over $300.
On Sunday at 5:13 p.m., a North Davis Circle woman said her ex-boyfriend, a 42-year-old Lane Street, Cleveland man is stalking and harassing her and has been trespassing on her property and she wants to file charges on him.
On Thursday at 2:41 p.m., a Southern Bancorp employee said a 34-year-old Pat Avenue, Inverness woman was in the bank trying to make a transaction with a forged check.
On Monday at 7:17 a.m., a Madison Avenue, Dolton, Illinois woman said someone broke into her 2017 Dodge Caravan and stole her Tori and Imani purse valued at $250.
On Saturday at 8:23 p.m., a Forrest Street woman said a 41-year-old Oak Street woman and a 21-year-old Hull Circle woman assaulted her by kicking her in the face, pulling her hair and leaving a small cut on her upper lip.
On Thursday at 3:29 p.m., a Holly Ridge Road woman said someone damaged her 2013 Nissan Altima in a hit and run, no injuries were reported, and the vehicle only suffered minor damage.
On May 15 at 8:36 a.m., a U.S. 82 East man said someone kicked in the rear door of his rent house located in the 300 block of Augusta Street.
On Friday at 1:10 p.m., a West Gresham Street woman said her neighbor's dog tried to attack her while she was walking down the street.
On Monday at 3:20 p.m., a Henry Rosser Drive man said someone filled out an application for a timeshare in which the company draws money from his account. The man said he has closed the account, but the company is still contacting him and saying that he owes them money for the contract that was signed.
On Friday at 8:12 a.m., a Delta Blues Street woman said someone broke into her 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe and stole her wallet containing her Woodforest Bank card, her Southern Bancorp card, $20 cash, a Medicaid card, social security card and a Mississippi ID card.
On Friday at 1:08 p.m., a West Gresham Street man said his neighbor’s dog tried to attack him while he was taking his morning walk.
On Sunday at 10:24 a.m., a Wiggins Road girl said she was assaulted by a Porter Drive girl and the girl broke her finger.
On Thursday at 9:33 a.m., a Hoover Street woman said that another woman assaulted her.
On May 16 at 3:10 p.m. a 42-year-old Barnes Street man was reportedly arrested for public drunkenness and public profanity when police were called to the Love's Truck Stop because of an unwanted person.
On Friday at 10:18 a.m., a Fourth Avenue man said someone broke into his house and stole his .320, 20-gauge shotgun.
On Thursday at 7:39 p.m., a U.S. 49 West, Inverness woman said someone broke the passenger side window out of the Full Gospel Apostolic Church's 1995 Ford van.
On Saturday at 12:21 a.m., a Kinlock Road woman said a 27-year-old Coates Street man assaulted her and broke the driver's side window out of her gray Nissan. A silver Apple iPhone 7plus was also reportedly damaged.
On Monday at 3:45 p.m., Chief Edrick Hall said he found a gray bag containing a CPAP machine on Allen Road.
On Sunday at 2:47 a.m., a Fourth Avenue man said someone stole his black Smith & Wesson 9 mm handgun out of his Mazda 6 in the 1200 block of U.S. 82.
On Thursday at 10:27 a.m., an Oak Street woman said a 22-year-old Shannon Ferguson Cove man has been harassing and threatening her.
On Saturday at 2:51 p.m., a Lincoln Avenue woman said that a 38-year-old Lincoln Avenue woman damaged the front windshield on her car.
On Friday at 10:45 p.m., a Roosevelt Street man and another man got into an argument and a fight in the 300 block of Johnson Street.
On Sunday at 4:02 a.m., after police were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital, a Stonewall Drive man said a 30-year-old Whittington Drive man shot him twice while they were in the 300 block of Hannah Street.
On Friday at 1:52 p.m., a West Gresham Street woman said her neighbor's dog tried to attack her while she was walking down the street.
On Saturday at 2:36 a.m., an Oak Street woman said her ex-boyfriend, a 31-year-old Moore Street, Inverness man came to her home and broke the rear bedroom window.
On Thursday at 10:23 a.m., a Lee Street man said someone damaged the front door on his home after police were called there in response to a burglar alarm.
On Friday at 3 p.m., a Walmart employee said that a 20-year-old Johnson Street man stole a $15 tablecloth, multiple placemats, a shower curtain, and several other household items valued at nearly $50.
On Friday at 2:55 p.m., a North Elmwood Circle woman said another woman has been harassing her.
On Monday at 9:37 a.m., a Willow Drive man said someone stole his Craftsman lawn mower.
On May 15 at 12:24 a.m., a Kinlock Road woman said a 30-year-old Galaxie Circle man assaulted her.
On May 15 at 12:51 p.m., a Walmart employee said someone was shoplifting and stole an ashtray and some make-up valued at $15.

On Thursday at 2:53 a.m., Randy Diggs, 42, 127 Barnes St., was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and public profanity.
On Thursday at 9:36 p.m., Jerry Carl Brown, 34, 118 Penny Circle, Sunflower was arrested and charged with drive by shooting and domestic violence.
On Thursday at 10:23 a.m., Jake Earl Spicer, 31, 646 East Floyce Street, Ruleville was arrested and charged with introduction of contraband onto Mississippi Department of Correction grounds.

On Thursday at 1:05 p.m., Johnny Thomas Davis, 38, 7864 Steven Franklin, Bartlett, Tennessee was arrested and charged with probation violation.

On Tuesday at 10:07 a.m., Moriyo Jones, 33, 442 Penny Circle, Sunflower was arrested and charged with sale and possession of/use of a controlled substance or narcotic within a correctional facility and introduction of alcohol onto Mississippi Department of Correction grounds.
