Indianola police made the following arrests,
On October 24 at 10:07 a.m., Stephon Snipes, 19, 200 Maybelle Street was arrested and charged with simple assault on a police officer, resisting arrest (major), and failure to obey officer (major), after police were called to his home regarding a disturbance.
On Saturday at 7:52 p.m., Tatyana Angelique DeJesus, 20, 316 Johnson Avenue and DeAngela Lashay Smith 23, 3690 CR 50, Apt. 525, Itta Bena were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (fighting), after the police were called to the 300 block of Johnson Street. A 21-year-old Cypress Lane, Greenville man is also listed as a suspect.
On Thursday at 3:24 p.m., Haley Martin, 21, 1118 Tiffany Plaza, Waterloo, Iowa was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) after police were called to Walmart and told that she allegedly stole $120 worth of clothing. Her 2013 Nissan was also reportedly impounded.

On Saturday at 7:40 p.m., a Barnes Street woman said her daughter, a 15-year-old Barnes Street girl, was robbed at gunpoint of a $100 LG cell phone and $20 cash in the Wiggins Road/Royal Oaks Apartment area.
On October 23 at 9:57 p.m., a Broadmoor Drive woman said someone stole a $102 blue Huffy bicycle owned by a 40-year-old Modern Lane woman.
On October 23 at 11:16 a.m., someone reported a tag stolen off of a 2001 Chevrolet CX1 van.
On October 24 at 1:09 p.m., a 28-year-old Easy Street woman said a North Hayden Street Belzoni man stole her identity and committed insurance fraud.
On October 23 at 9:42 a.m., a 70-year-old East Percy Street woman said a 53-year-old Roosevelt Street man stole a 14-karat yellow gold ring valued at $675, a 14-karat yellow gold wedding band valued at $10,500, a $7,200 14-karat yellow gold wedding band set, a 14-karat gold marquise diamond ring valued at $1,685, a gold 10-karat heart pendant valued at $299 and her 2004 Volkswagen Jetta.
On October 24 at 10:46 p.m., a 61-year-old Kinlock Road man said someone damaged a tire on his 2006 Chevrolet Silverado.
On Sunday at 1:35 a.m., a 30-year-old Whittington Drive man said his black Samsung cell phone was missing, but he was not sure if he lost it or if someone stole it.
On October 24 at 4:10 p.m., a Marie Avenue man said someone vandalized his Mercedes B bus on Roosevelt Street near the Save the Children Head Start building.
On October 24 at 9:23 a.m., a 65-year-old Gardner Street man said someone broke into his home.
On Friday at 6:18 p.m., a man said someone went into his 2015 Chevrolet CZT and stole a gray and black Smith and Wesson handgun valued at $380 plus $40 in cash.
On October 23 at 10:09 p.m., a Seymour Drive woman said she wanted her ex-boyfriend, a 28-year-old Eastmoor Subdivision, Moorhead man, removed from her home, so police instructed him to leave and not to return because if he did, charges would be filed.
On Saturday at 4:27 p.m., a Walmart employee said two women came into the store and left without paying for $189 worth of items.
On Sunday at 4:10 p.m., a Turner’s Downtown Market employee said a 52-year-old West Davis Circle man stole $9 worth of meat.
On Sunday at 1:03 p.m. a man said a 39-year-old Fountain Street woman was harassing him.
On Monday at 10:50 p.m., a Love's Truck Stop employee said a man walked into the store and asked for change for a $20 bill and when she opened the register the man attempted to reach in and take some money. Reportedly $61 was stolen and a 53-year-old Fourth Avenue, Jackson man, a 26-year-old Melbourne Road, Jackson man and a 19-year-old Madison, Wisconsin woman are listed as suspects.
On Monday at 11:48 a.m., a Shoppers Value Foods employee accused a 30-year-old U.S. 82 woman, who was employed by the store, of embezzlement because she cooked $20 worth of catfish fillet and did not pay the full price for it.
On Saturday at 4:38 a.m., an Adair Street man said a 38-year-old Choctaw Circle man used an unknown object to damage the rear tires on his 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis.
On Thursday at 12:17 a.m., police spotted a 20-year-old Patricia Drive man heading west on U.S. 82 with no headlights, so the man was stopped and issued a citation, in addition, one gram of marijuana was seized.
On Friday at 2:47 a.m., a 23-year-old Cleveland Street man ran the stop sign at the corner of Curtis and Garrard and upon stopping him, police also seized one gram of marijuana and impounded a 2016 Dodge Charger.
On Monday at 8:19 p.m., a Cleveland Street woman said an unidentified female stabbed a 17-year-old Cleveland Street boy, who was being treated at the South Sunflower County Hospital emergency room.

On Oct. 24 at 4:55 p.m., Deverena Carter, 34, 306 Faisonia Ave., was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and failure to comply with the request of an officer.
Oct. 24 at 9:38 p.m., Philip Bradbury 21, 2117 Carol St., Greenville was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense).
On Oct. 24 at 9:45 p.m., Jaret William Reister, 21, 2231 Carol St., Greenville was arrested and charged with public drunkenness, open container law violation and possession of marijuana.
