Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Nov. 21 at 2:28 p.m., Brady Thompson, 42, 118 Stonewall St., was arrested and charged with domestic violence without injuries (first offense) after police were called to his address because his wife was reportedly closed up in the closet to get away from him because he was allegedly assaulting her.
On Monday at 4:09 p.m., Joann Cobbins Pierce, 56, 913 Broadmoor Drive was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) after a Walmart employee said she stole $39 worth of merchandise.
On Monday at 8:42 p.m., Mary Ann Luby, 54, 306 Henderson Street was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) after a Walmart employee said she swapped the tag prices on a $2 bottle of Revlon hair dye and then paid for the item and left the store.
On Saturday at 12:20 a.m., Monique Brown Gibson, 38, 409 Coates Street was arrested and charged with resisting arrest (minor) and failure to obey an officer (minor) after she refused to get out of a vehicle and pulled away from the officer while he was trying to handcuff her. Officers pulled over a tan Tahoe driven by a 42-year-old Hough Street man on U.S. 82 near McDonald’s because he had an outstanding warrant, however the man jumped out and ran. Gibson also had an outstanding warrant and refused to get out of the vehicle and pulled away from the officer during the arrest process.

On Saturday at 9:59 p.m., an 18-year-old Herman Johnson Street woman said a West Herman Johnson Street man stole her silver iPhone 6 valued at $219.
On Monday at 12:43 a.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Broadmoor Drive regarding child neglect. An 11-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl, and a 12-year-old boy are listed as the victims and a 29-year-old Broadmoor Drive woman is listed as a suspect. In addition, a Washington Street, Cleveland woman is listed as the guardian and a Cox Street man is listed as a parent.
On Thursday at 7:34 a.m., a 38-year-old Augusta Street woman said her husband, a 37-year-old Gardner Street man, broke into her home and assaulted her.
On Saturday at 2:09 p.m., a 58-year-old Front Street man said someone called him and told him they were representing Entergy and that he was $1,500 behind on his bill and he needed to put the money on a GreenDot card and call them back with the number.
On Friday at 7:27 p.m., a Double Quick employee said a Lesna Lane, Ruston, Louisiana man drove off from the U.S. 82 store in a 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer without paying for the gas.
On Nov. 21 at 12:09 p.m., a 16-year-old Maybelle Street boy threatened to kill police officers when they responded to the 200 block of the Street and questioned him in reference to a 40-year-old Maybelle Street woman’s claim that her Magnavox Smart TV was missing from her kitchen table. At least one of the officer reportedly pursued charges for threatening.
On Sunday at 5:14 p.m., a 38-year-old Jefferson Street woman and her 15-year-old Hoover Street daughter were creating a disturbance in the 500 block of Jefferson Street.
On Monday at 10:47 a.m., a 15-year-old Broadmoor Street girl and a 14-year old Broadmoor Street girl left Merritt Junior High School walking and without permission during school hours.
On Nov. 19 at 2:29 p.m., a 33-year-old Garrard Road man was reportedly arrested near Hannah and Clay streets during a traffic stop on a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and charged with simple possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license and no insurance. Police reportedly seized one gram of a green leafy substance in a plastic baggie and a black Smith & Wesson handgun.
On Nov. 19 at 11:29 a.m., a Stewart Street man said someone stole the tag off of his 1995 Dodge Dakota truck, but he was unsure of where and when it was taken.
On Friday at 12:40 a.m., a 22-year-old Fourth Avenue woman said a 49-year-old Third Avenue man kicked the left rear door of her vehicle and caused damage.
On Nov. 17 at 10:02 a.m., a 20-year-old woman said a 22-year-old Maybelle Street man stole her gold iPhone 6s Plus valued at $400 and her Rapid USA Visa card and amassed $276 worth of charges.
On Friday at 7:49 p.m., while on a traffic stop, officers seized several ecstasy pills from a 33-year-old Watwood Drive, Greenville man driving a 2004 Mazda.
On Nov. 19 at 10:18 p.m., a 56-year-old Terminal Road man at the South Sunflower County Hospital emergency room said a group of people assaulted him.
On Sunday at 7:18 p.m., a 28-year-old Kinlock Road woman said a 30-year-old Broadmoor Drive man punched her.
On Nov. 19 at 11:06 a.m., a 63-year-old U.S. 82 man said a 40-year-old Deer Creek Circle, Arcola man keeps coming onto his property after being asked to stay away. No charges were filed.
On Nov. 20 at 12:41 p.m., a 37-year-old Northwest 10th Terrace, Fort Lauderdale, Florida man was reportedly arrested for failure to obey officers and resisting arrest.
On Nov. 20 at 12:53 p.m., a 68-year-old Chapman Street woman said another woman used her credit card to accrue $900 in purchases.
On Friday at 12:04 p.m., a 41-year-old Skyline Drive, McKinney, Texas woman and a 49-year-old Third Avenue man said a 22-year-old Fourth Avenue woman threatened her and cut two tires on his 2014 Chevrolet truck.
On Nov. 20 at 10:06 p.m., a Forrest Street woman said a 28-year-old Brantley Circle man was harassing her.
On Nov. 21 at 11:31 p.m., a Double Quick employee said a 25-year-old Pine Street, Moorhead woman came into the U.S. 82 West store and started a fight with a 24-year-old South Cliff Finch Avenue, Sunflower woman who was also an employee.
On Monday at 9 p.m., a 64-year-old Faisonia Avenue man said his wife, a 62-year-old Faisonia Avenue woman, came into his home and stole his Hydrocodone pain pills valued at $480.
On Thursday at 4:54 p.m., a 24-year-old Spoonbill Court woman said that her baby's father, a 30-year-old Jackson Street man, assaulted her while they were on their way to a family gathering together.
