Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Sept. 22, Jarvis Chillus, 27, was arrested and charged with domestic violence without injury (first offense).
On Sept. 22, Brenda Griffin, 49, was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.
On Sept. 23, Thaddeus Fairley was arrested and charged with petit larceny—personal property under $250.
On Sept 24, Tequilla Edwards, 19, was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense).
On Sept. 24, Romeius Townsend, 39, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace by threatening, and simple assault with attempt to cause bodily harm.
On Sept. 24, Shanice Wilson, 25, was arrested and charged with three counts of assault on a minor.
On Sept. 25, Robert A. Mitchell, 21, was arrested and charged with simple assault with injuries and simple assault without injuries.
On September 27, Cortez Ball, 28, was arrested and charged with domestic violence without injury (first offense).
On September 27, Tuesde Scott, 28, was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense).
On Sept. 27, Zion Jefferson, 18, 807 Eastside Drive, Belzoni was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct—refusal to leave the premises, after police were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital emergency room for crowd control.
On Friday, Shaquille Weeks, 24, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
On Friday at 12:48 p.m., police arrested Allen Wayne Beach, 52, 701 Airport Road and charged him with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, no driver’s license, no tag and no insurance. Police seized 1 gram of marijuana from a 2005 tan Buick SUV.
On Friday, police arrested Benard Douglas Williams, 45,, 206 West Augusta St., and Karl Maurice Davis 47, 603 Beaverdam Road and charged both with disorderly conduct—disturbing the peace for fighting in the Double Quick store in the 100 block of U.S. 82. At 7:58 p.m., the store manager said the two were inside of the store fighting.

On Sept. 23 at 6:44 a.m., a woman said that a 33-year-old McKnight Street, Shaw man drove away from the Scott’s filling station without paying for $32 worth of gas.
On Sept. 27 at 1:02 p.m., the Enterprise-Tocsin reported newspaper stands stolen from the front of two businesses on U.S. 82, vandalized and the coins removed.
On Thursday at 12:21 p.m., a Walmart employee said they wanted to file charges on a 63-year-old Brent Road man for shoplifting. The report lists $14 in fishing hooks recovered.
On Thursday at 1:39 p.m., a Walmart employee said they wanted to file charges on an 18-year-old Tall Oaks Lane, Youngsville, LA woman who allegedly shoplifted $64.61 worth of merchandise around 8:42 p.m. on Sept. 17.
On Thursday at 2:38 p.m., a 44-year-old Hoover Street man said a 51-year-old West Davis Circle man pulled a knife on him and threatened to cut him and then stole his Huffy bike.
On Thursday at 1:33 a.m., a Clay Street woman said someone stole her air conditioner out of her window and a 20-inch flat screen television from her home.
On Friday at 11:26 p.m., police made a traffic stop in the 600 block of Coates Street on a Buick LaCrosse that didn’t have a tag and later arrested a 35-year-old man whose address is listed as Stockyard Road, Sunflower.
On Friday at 4:57 p.m., an East Barton Avenue, Greenwood woman said she was driving in the Wisteria and Willow streets area when a small branch fell from a tree and hit her 2014 white Cadillac SRX.
On Friday at 12:54 a.m., a 20-year-old Birdsong Street man allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old Spoonbill Court man at Love’s Truck Stop.
On Saturday at 8:51 a.m., a 56-year-old Cox Street woman said a 15-year-old Oklahoma Street boy took $680 from her purse.
On Saturday at 8:53 a.m., a 45-year-old Shannon Ferguson Street woman said someone stole her TV and a washing machine.
On Saturday at 9:16 a.m., a 50 year-old man said a man came into the Neighborhood Dollar Plus store on Bates Street and didn’t have enough money on his EBT card but left with groceries and didn’t pay for them.
On Sunday at 4:50 p.m., a 29-year-old Birdsong Street man said a 27-year-old Henry Rosser Drive man threatened him.
On Monday at 10:12 p.m., a 51-year-old West Davis Circle man said a Hoover Street man chased him with a huge knife and a bat in the 300 block of Mill Street.
On Monday at 8:25 p.m., a Curtis Street man called police to the 600 block of Garrard Avenue and said a 25-year-old woman took his 2-year-old son from his home.
On Monday at 6:58 a.m., an Oak Street woman said someone broke the driver’s side and back window out of her 2013 Dodge.
On Monday at 7:30 a.m., a 42-year-old Wilson Street, Sunflower woman said a 50-year-old Pine Street, Moorhead man broke some windows out of a 2006 Toyota Avalon that was parked in the 900 block of U.S. 82.

On Sept. 27, Jerry Lee Lewis, 40, 420 Railroad Ave., Sunflower was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and disturbing the peace.
On Friday, Laterrious Terrell Swift, 20, 508 Birdsong St., was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
On Saturday, Antwain Antonio Tigues, 35, 709 Pershing Ave., was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense), no driver's license, expired tag, and failure to comply with an officer.
