On August 28 at 11:36 a.m., Johnny Alexander, 41, 1101 Bates Avenue was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) after a Dollar General employee said he stole a $2 Monster Pipeline drink, a can of Armour Vienna sausages, a $1 Mr. Goodbar and three bars of Dial soap.

On August 28 at 2:36 p.m., a Marie Road woman said she discovered a $75 tile saw, a $75 Ryobi drill and battery pack and a 100-foot extension cord valued at $25 were missing after an employee was fired.
On August 28 at 7:57 p.m., a Fountain Avenue woman said a 44-year-old Birdsong Street man has been constantly calling her phone and harassing her.
On Monday at 7 a.m., a U.S. 82 business owner said a 59-year-old Lewis Coleman Jr Drive, Louisville, Kentucky man was trespassing on his property because the man parked his 18-wheeler there without permission.
On August 29 at 1:27 a.m., a Coates Street woman said she was doing her friend guy’s hair when a 27-year old Quick Circle man came over to her pointing his finger in her face and then slapped her in the left eye. The woman also said a 52-year-old Aquarius Circle woman keeps coming to her house although she has asked her not to several times.
On Thursday at 11:11 a.m., a McGee Road, Belzoni man said someone threatened him with a gun on U.S. 82 near Wendy's.
On Monday at 8:53 a.m., a Carver Street woman said her husband, a 33-year-old Beale Street man assaulted her and held her hostage, but she does not want to press charges.
On August 29 at 7:04 p.m., a Kinlock Road woman said a Roosevelt Street man’s dog bit her.
On August 27 at 4:24 p.m., a Maybelle Street woman, who is reportedly employed by a Sunflower County school, said a 41-year-old Cross Street, Cleveland man, who is also employed by a Sunflower County school, sexually harassed her.
On Saturday at 7:43 p.m., a Gooden Lake Road, Belzoni woman said a 21-year-old Spoonbill Court man hit her in the face with his fist.
On Friday at 5:16 p.m., a Walker Street man said a 30-year-old Chapman Street woman, driving a 2004 Pontiac was driving recklessly and cut a school bus off near Front Street almost causing an accident.
On August 28 at 1:56 p.m., a Sunflower County road grader and a dump truck collided on Allen Road near the sheriff's office and caused damage to both, but no injuries were reported at the time.
On August 29 at 7:15 p.m., a Galaxie Circle, Hollandale woman said a 38-year-old West Augusta Street woman assaulted her two juvenile daughters by pushing one of them and pulling the other’s hair.
On Monday at 9:22 p.m., a Walmart employee said that a 56-year-old Quiver Street, Ruleville woman stole an Eclipse watch valued at $22 and a Viewpoint watch valued at $22.
On August 29 at 6:26 p.m., a Charlie Ellis Road woman said a 51-year-old Beaverdam Road man assaulted her by slapping her back and forth in her face with an open hand.
On Friday at 3:26 p.m., a Walmart employee said someone stole a $40 AT&T iPhone.
On August 28 at 10:16 a.m., a Planters Bank employee said an East Herman Johnson Street man wrote a $4,800 check on a closed account.
On August 29 at 8:22 p.m., a Lafayette Street, Ruleville man said he damaged both of his front tires when he ran over something turning onto US 49 from U.S. 82.
On August 29 at 7:52 p.m., a West Gresham Street woman said 7 to 10 girls drove up to her home and were trying to fight her daughter.
On Monday at 11:51 p.m., a Curtis Street store owner said a woman came into the store took a $1 Coors Light beer and left the store without paying for it.
On August 28 at 5:34 p.m., a Westside Avenue woman said someone came into Discount Liquor and Wine, grabbed a $45 bottle of Remy alcohol and ran out.
On August 28 at 7:33 a.m., a glass window was broken out during a disturbance in the 200 block of West Gresham Street. Two West Gresham Street women and an Alexander Avenue woman are listed as the victims and an 18-year-old West Gresham Street Woman, a 45-year-old West Gresham Street woman, a 25-year-old Alexander Street woman, a 23-year-old Alexander Street man and a 45-year-old Alexander Street woman are all listed as suspects.
On Friday at 10:46 a.m., a Jeff Davis Street woman said someone stole her red Peerless Weedeater valued at $89 and her Worx Fusion blower valued at $100.
On Saturday at 8:30 p.m., a Stockyard Road, Sunflower woman said a 27-year old Brantley Circle Man hit her in the head and broke the driver’s side window out of her 2004 Chevrolet GMC.
On Thursday at 2:04 p.m., a Guaranty Bank employee said a 29-year-old Aquarius Circle man, a 19-year-old Stonewall Drive woman, a 32 year-old Breich Street, Leland man and a 33-year old-Ethel Waters Drive man used a closed account to write checks.
On August 28 at 4:14 p.m., a Lipe Street, Shaw man said a 30-year-old Wiggins Road woman threw a binder at him during a parent-teacher meeting in the library at Carver Elementary School when they were discussing her son's behavior.
On Thursday at 6:10 p.m., a Brantley Circle woman driving a 2018 Chevrolet Spark hatchback said a Brantley Circle woman driving a 2007 Chevrolet QLS backed into the front of her car and damaged it as she was waiting to pump gas at the Double Quick on B.B. King Road.

On Sunday at 12:21 p.m., a Church Street woman said a Britt Road man was brandishing a Taurus .40 caliber handgun in the 700 block of Hannah Street.
On August 28 at 9:59 a.m., a Whittington Drive man said a 25-year-old CR 271, Belzoni woman threatened to run him over with her car near Church's Chicken.

On Sunday at 1:19 a.m., Jomaritoes Burtin 32, 4107 58th Place, Meridian was arrested and is being charged with felony possession of a weapon and attempt to introduce contraband onto Mississippi Department of Corrections grounds.
On Sunday at 1:19 a.m., Miranda Leigh Hillhouse 34, 3446 Highway 11/80 Toomsuba, MS was arrested and charged with attempting to introduce contraband onto the Mississippi Department of Corrections grounds.
On Monday at 10:30 p.m., Connie Caldwell 56, 907 Quiver Street, Ruleville was arrested and charged with trespassing after notice of non-permission and shoplifting.
