The latest nominee for the Mississippian With the Most Challenging Job may be Daniel Ennis, the new president of Delta State University.
His five-year mission is to seal an $11 million hole in the school’s budget. He must take the existing $51 million annual budget down to $40 million, which is a reduction of more than 20%.
