Services for Eric M. Bounds of South Holland, Ill., formerly of Ruleville, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Ruleville. Burial followed at Mount Galilee Cemetery, Ruleville.
Mr. Bounds, 47, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at Northwestern Medical Center, Chicago.
Eric graduated from Ruleville Central High School in 1995. He attended Miss. State University where he pledged Iota Phi Theta fraternity. He moved to Chicago where he began a 16-year career with United Airlines as a customer service lead representative.
Mr. Bounds is survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 12 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Byas Mortuary, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
