19th Annual Academic Awards Ceremony
The Church Triumphant Global, Incorporated, of Jackson, pastored by native Indianolan, Bishop Adrian Ware, is honored to invite you to its 19th Annual Academic Awards Ceremony, where Dr. Cherae Farmer-Dixon will be the Keynote Speaker at 10:00 a.m. Sunday. Both Bishop Ware and Dr. Farmer-Dixon are Gentry High School Graduates Class of 1982.
The Academics Awards Ceremony honors both students and educators who have excelled in the world of academia for the previous school year. This program has become a community event to inspire and encourage all who are returning to school and all who are aspiring for excellence in life. Dr. Cherae Farmer-Dixon is currently the only female Dean of a U.S. Dental School. She is the Dean of the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN.

Explorer’s Bible Study
The Explorer’s Bible Study will begin classes for men and women at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14 and for women at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17 in the First Methodist Church chapel. They will be studying “Wise Answers from John and Ecclesiastes” (August-December) and “Wise Living from Proverbs and Song of Solomon” (January-April). Cost is $30 per semester. The Mt. Zion Heathman M.B. Church will be having their annual revival at 7pm nightly August 15th through August 17th. The guest minister is Pastor Howard Newton of San Antonio TX. Everyone is invited.
