Indianola police made the following arrests,
On August 22 at 2:20 p.m., Jashawn Colton 22, 415 Gholston St., Inverness was arrested and charged with domestic violence without injuries (first offense) because of a reported incident on Airport Road at the Canterbury Apartments.
On Friday at 9:34 a.m., Selvin Steen 42, 419 Adair Ave., was arrested and charged with trespassing after notice of non-permission, failure to obey officer (minor) and resisting arrest (major) after police were called to the Double-Quick store on U.S. 82. Steen has been told numerous times to stay off of the property.
On Saturday at 6:41 a.m., Vincent Darnell Turner 27, 403 Adair Street was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense) resulting from an incident in the 400 Block of Adair Street.
On Friday at 1:15 p.m., Shai'Brelle L. Nelson 19, 105 Stonewall Drive was arrested and charged with trespassing after notice of non-permission, failure to obey officer (minor), resisting arrest (major), and simple assault on a police officer after a Birdsong Street woman said Nelson was at her home and not wanted there. She also said Nelson keeps coming to her home after being asked on several times not to. Nelson also refused to leave after the police asked her.
On August 22 at 10:28 p.m., Christopher Tyrone Clark 41, 1006 Broadmoor Drive, Apt. 64 was arrested and charged with failure to obey officer (minor) after police were called to the 400 block of Porter Drive about an unwanted person.

On Friday at 9:11 a.m., a Planters Bank employee said a 39-year-old Coates Street woman tried to commit fraud by depositing funds from a closed account.
On August 22 at 9:45 a.m., a Jordan Drive woman said someone broke into her automobile and stole a gray HP laptop valued at $300.
On Saturday at 4:41 p.m., an Inverness woman said a 20-year-old Janet Davis Circle man, an 18-year-old Cypress Bend Circle, Belzoni woman, a 23-year-old Hannah Avenue woman and an 18-year-old Moore Street, Inverness woman came to her job harassing her.
On Thursday at 9 p.m., while on patrol in the South Southwest Plaza area, an officer heard several gunshots coming from the 400 block of Curtis Street.
On August 21 at 9:10 a.m., a Neighborhood Dollar Plus grocery store employee said a 42-year-old Janet Davis Circle man stole a can of Spam and left the store running.
On Saturday at 3:34 a.m., a Cleveland Street woman said a 31-year-old Adair Street woman came into a house in the 600 block of Choctaw Circle around 3 a.m., and assaulted her.
On Thursday at 11:29 p.m., police went to the 100 block of North Davis Circle because of a 911-call hang up regarding domestic violence. The dispatcher said that some children called 911 and said their parents were fighting.
On August 21 at 3:35 p.m., a Double Quick store assistant manager said a 42-year-old Janet Davis Circle man came into a U.S. 82 store and stole a box of Snickers candy bars valued at $57 and a box of Butterfinger candy bars valued at $28.
On August 21 at 10:57 a.m., police attempted to stop a 35-year-old Azalea Drive man regarding an active warrant but the man refused to stop.
On Monday at 4:34 p.m., an Ellis Road, Buena Vista man said someone broke into his trailer and stole a DeWalt power saw, a Dewalt impact drill, a DeWalt regular drill, a DeWalt Transit, a Hilti gun, a sledgehammer, an Estwing Hammer and an electric skil saw.
On Friday at 8:39 p.m., a Dollar General store employee said someone stole a $9 pack of Hanes t-shirts and two packs of Hanes socks valued at $18.
On Thursday at 7:29 a.m., police went to the 400 block of Gresham Street after they got a 911 hang up call. An East Gresham Street woman said her husband, a 47-year-old East Gresham Street man, hit her several times.
On August 21 at 7:05 p.m., a Cox Street man said he was having problems with his stepson because one of his stepson’s friends took some gas and broke a gas can that was in his boat.
On Friday at 8:11 a.m., a Brantley Circle resident said someone broke into her home and stole a Hisense TV and an Emerson TV.
On August 22 at 6:19 a.m., a Henderson Street woman found the front door open at the pool hall on Hannah Street and told police someone had broken in. Police said an unknown object was used to pry the door open.
On Sunday at 2:03 p.m., a Moody Street woman said the right rear fender on her 2012 Chevrolet was damaged in the parking lot of Walmart by shopping carts.
On August 22 at 9:27 p.m., a Hough Street woman said a 42-year-old Janet Davis Circle man went into her backyard at 9:53 p.m. on August 21 and stole her son’s black mini motorcycle valued at $300.
On Friday at 1:40 p.m., a Walmart employee said that a 16-year-old East Market Street, Greenwood boy concealed two Samsung cell phones valued at $198 and left the store without paying for them.
On Monday at 6:35 p.m., a Park Avenue man said someone broke into his rent house in the 200 block of West Gresham Street and stole a refrigerator.
On Thursday at 4:38 p.m., a CR 271, Belzoni woman said a 30-year-old Whittington Drive man came to her job at the U.S. 82 Double Quick store and harassed her after ordering food.
On Friday at 9:55 a.m., a West Percy Street man said someone stole a black Smith & Wesson 9 millimeter handgun valued at $350 out of his 2004 Dodge Ram pickup.
On Sunday at 12:11 a.m., a North Davis Circle woman called police to the U.S. 82 Double Quick store near Catchings Street because of damage to her 2015 Dodge Charger.
On Saturday at 4:54 p.m., a North Southwest Plaza man said someone hit his 2011 Dodge Charger while it was parked in front of his home and caused damage to the front passenger side bumper.
On August 22 at 7:27 a.m., a Faison Avenue man said he found a Polaris Ranger ATV 4x4 side-by-side in his backyard behind his storage shed and it does not belong to him.
On Saturday at 7:51 p.m., a Herman Johnson Street man said someone stole his $100 Yardman lawn mower from his front porch.
On Thursday at 9:38 p.m., a McPherson Street woman said a 31-year old Holly Ridge Road man is harassing her by constantly calling and texting her and she has asked him to stop.
On August 22 at 2:59 p.m., a Roosevelt Street woman said a 23-year-old Oakwood Drive, Belzoni woman picked up a wooden chair that was on her front porch, threw it and hit her front door breaking the glass in it. The resident said she has told the woman several times not to come onto her property so she wants to file charges for trespassing and malicious mischief.
On Friday at 4:23 p.m., an Akins Drive woman said she wanted to file charges on a 35-year-old Walker Street woman and a 23-year-old Spoonbill Court woman because they assaulted and threatened her 14-year-old and 15-year-old daughters in the 500 block of Birdsong Street. The Birdsong Street homeowner also said she wanted to file charges on the two women for disturbing the peace and trespassing.
On Friday at 5:49 p.m., the co-owner of the Blue Biscuit said a 37-year-old Roosevelt Street man was seen on video stealing items from the food storage.
On Saturday at 3:01 p.m., a Westside Avenue man said a 27-year-old Bellevue Drive man assaulted him at Gentry High School.
On Sunday at 6:17 p.m., a Clifford Road, Sunflower man said a 26-year-old Nash Street, Isola woman, who is the mother of his children, assaulted him by slapping him in the face with an open hand.
On Thursday at 12:41 p.m., a Coates Street woman said a 25-year-old Brantley Circle man keeps riding by her house and making threats towards her.

On August 21, Martez Perry 26, 712 Avenue E, Greenwood was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
On Thursday, Lamarcus T. Conrod 31, 115 Jefferson St., was arrested and charged with credit card fraud. His bond was set at $1,000 and a preliminary hearing has been set for September 4 at 3 p.m.
On Thursday, Donald Ray Odom Jr., 47, 406 East Gresham St., was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense).
On Thursday Dambreal Wiley 22, 880 Garrett Road, Webb, MS was arrested and charged with introducing contraband onto Mississippi Department of Corrections grounds.
On Friday, Jamill A. Henry 33, 2 Gaines Road, Mound Bayou was arrested and charged with introducing contraband onto Mississippi Department of Correction grounds.
