The Food Trucks & Fireworks Festival is returning to Indianola tonight.
The July 1 event is the second installment of the food and family fun event that culminates in a large fireworks show.
Entry to the festival is free and will include bounce houses and live entertainment.
The city is spending just over $10,000 to bring Big Pop Fireworks back for the second year at Fletcher Park, across from the former Modern Line building.
Indianola Police Chief Ronald Sampson told The Enterprise-Tocsin this week that no concealed bags will be allowed on the premises. He said that clear bags only will be allowed.
The festival will kick off at 5:30 p.m., and the fireworks show will begin at 8:45 p.m.
