The Indianola Police Department did not report any arrests this week.

In other calls,

  On December 28 at 12:27 p.m., a 70-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman said someone damaged her vehicle.

   On December 29 at 12:37 p.m., a Greenwood woman at Scott Petroleum reported the use of forged checks by an unknown suspect. The victim is listed as a 61-year-old Moorhead woman.

   On December 29 at 2:12 p.m., a 71-year-old E. Augusta Street man reported that someone had burglarized two vehicles on Dec. 24. The suspect is listed as a 42-year-old Garrard Ave. man.

   On December 29 at 3:18 p.m., a Gridge Road, Coahoma woman reported that a 2017 Honda four-wheeler was stolen out of a fence at A and A Recovery on Airport Road.

   On December 30 at 7:38 a.m., a 48-year-old Oak Street man said someone broke into his vehicle and stole his belongings, including a MacBook laptop computer and a S&W .38 spl. firearm.

  On December 30 at 8:56 a.m., a 68-year-old Fountain Avenue man reported that someone stole the electrical meter from the side of his house.

  On December 30 at 8:19 p.m., an officer responded to a hit-and-run at the Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant. One vehicle left the scene but later returned. No injuries were reported and minor damage was done to a parked vehicle.

   On December 31 at 9:02 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Indianola Police Department where a BB King Road man reported a lost/stolen ID card.

   On December 31 at 1:22 p.m., an officer responded to a two-vehicle motor accident at the intersection of Highway 82 and Sunflower Avenue.

   On December 31 at 6:16 p.m., a 20-year-old Slim Street woman reported that a 54-year-old Cleveland Street man took 7 of her narcotic pills.

   On December 31 at 11:47 p.m., a 52-year-old Modern Lane woman reported that someone stole two of her deceased fathers’ handguns from her home on December 29.

   On January 2 at 12:15 a.m., a South Davis Circle woman stated that someone shattered a window of her vehicle with a brick.

   On January 2 at 3:50 p.m., a 59-year-old Greenville woman reported that someone hit her vehicle while it was parked in Cato’s parking lot.

   On Sunday at 2:07 a.m., a 78-year-old Cox Street man reported that someone had vandalized his vehicle.

   On Sunday at 3:44 a.m., a 27-year-old E. Herman Johnson man reported that someone had vandalized his vehicle.

   On Sunday at 4:57 a.m., a West Percy Street woman reported that someone was trespassing and looking through her front door window.

   On Sunday at 11:57 a.m., a West Gresham Street woman reported that someone had damaged her vehicle.

   On Monday at 1:40 a.m., an officer responded to a call at the Delta Inn and Suites for vandalism. The 23-year-old suspect reportedly busted out the hotel’s room front window with his fist and attempted to stab a 30-year-old Modern Lane woman with a piece of glass.

   On Monday at 6:00 p.m., an officer responded to a call-in reference to a domestic dispute between a 30-year-old Lee Street man and a 26-year-old Broadmoor Drive woman.

The following persons were booked into the Sunflower County Jail during the past week:

   On Sunday at 3:52 p.m., Reginald Maurice Redmond, 45, 119 Curtis Street, Indianola, was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries, failure to comply with requests of an officer and contempt of municipal court.

   On Monday at 4:44 p.m., Devontrez Jones, 23, 714 OB Ave, Ruleville, was charged with possession of stolen property.

   On Monday at 5:00 p.m., Antonio Murphy, 21, 714 OB Ave, Ruleville, was charged with possession of stolen property.

   On Monday at 4:52 p.m., Albert L. Sykes, 31, Lot# 18 Cypress Acres, Sunflower, was charged with aggravated domestic violence.
