The teams at Delta Health Center and Bolivar Medical Center are pleased to announce that Simone Moore, MD, is now offering pediatric services to patients throughout the Delta.
Dr. Moore earned the Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she then completed her pediatric residency. She was the recipient of a Barksdale Scholarship and was actively involved in medical associations and medical mission opportunities.
“Dr. Moore will be a great asset to the area for our pediatric patients, and she is an excellent addition to our hospital team,” said Rob Marshall, CEO of Bolivar Medical Center. “Pediatric care is a high demand in the Delta, and Dr. Moore’s expertise will be important as Bolivar Medical Center strives to meet our region’s evolving healthcare needs and make our community healthier.”

Dr. Moore has provided volunteer service for 10 years in various capacities that are all related to pediatric health and wellness and educational advancement. She has conducted research through the St. Jude Pediatric Oncology Enrichment Program as well as the Yale Biostep Program. Dr. Moore’s most recent educational presentation covered sickle cell and dealing with complicated patients.
She and her husband, Chad, are involved in civic endeavors including establishing a foundation, the Giving Moore Foundation, to give back to their home community of Pass Christian, Miss., by raising funds to provide college scholarships.
