The Enterprise-Tocsin has announced the hiring of its new publisher.
Yazoo City native Bryan Davis took over the Indianola publication this month, after former publisher Charlie Smith left to lead the paper in Columbia, Miss.
"The E-T has a long history of service to its community, and after getting to know Bryan over the last few weeks I'm confident he will carry on that tradition well,” said Smith. “I wish him and his family all the best as they get started in Sunflower County."
Davis comes to Indianola with his wife, Callie, and daughter Ellie. They are expecting another daughter in September.
“It feels great to be back in the Mississippi Delta,” Davis said. “I look forward to this challenge and to serving this community.”
Davis has spent the past four years working in Alabama, including a stint with the Birmingham Business Journal.
