A group of about 30 to 40 faithful Christian believers hit the streets of Indianola Saturday morning in a prayer walk organized by Driefus Smith. The group sang hymns and some took turns raising their petitions and supplications skyward towards the heavenly realm in hope and faith for the safety of the children and law enforcement personnel and that a positive change will come over the schools, each community and the entire city.
The parade of petitioners started at the south parking lot of Gentry High School and meandered throughout the city streets, first heading south on B.B. King Road before turning right onto Oak Street on their way to the B.B. King Park on Roosevelt Street, where the morning’s activities continued in fellowship.
