The Indianola Huddle House abruptly closed its doors on Tuesday leaving the city with one less 24-hour eatery.
A sign posted on the door read, “We would like to thank you for your loyal patronage. Due to circumstances beyond our control, this store/location is closed effective November 7, 2017.”
In a statement, Huddle House Senior Account Lead Sydney (Trepel) Thompson said, “Yesterday, Huddle House, Inc. was informed that one of its licensed operators was closing four of his locations in Mississippi and Tennessee due to unforeseen personal circumstances. Although Huddle House, Inc. does not own the locations, we are working closely with the operator to minimize any community impact of the closures.”
Thompson further stated that Huddle House is grateful to the communities that it has served and appreciates its customers’ loyalty, “Especially as it transitions through this event.”
Huddle House intends to continue to grow and develop its brand in select markets and maintain the valued community connections for which they are known, according to Thompson.
