A pair of events benefiting Mississippi Delta Community College’s Sunflower/Humphreys Alumni Chapter and the MDCC Athletic Department will take place over the next two weeks.
The MDCC Sunflower/Humphreys Alumni Chapter mixer will be Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Market in Inverness.
Admission to the event is $5, and it will include hors d’oeuvres, drinks and door prizes.

The second event, the MDCC Memorial Golf Tournament, will tee off at the Indianola Country Club on April 20.
The four-man scramble will start with an 11:15 lunch, followed by a 12:15 tee time.
The cost is $100 per person, and the deadline to sign up is April 9.
The money donated to the tournament will support the MDCC Athletic Department in memory of its former coaches.
