Double Quick Inc. has officially changed ownership.
According to a report from Convenience Store News, a convenience store industry publication, South Carolina-based Refuel has purchased the Indianola-based chain.
The E-T first reported in February that Refuel had struck a deal to acquire the popular convenience store company, which operates 48 locations in Mississippi and Arkansas.
Matrix Capital Markets Group, Inc. served as the financial advisor for Double Quick.
Double Quick was founded in 1983 by Tom Gresham and Bill McPherson.
Refuel is a fast-growing convenience store chain out of the Charleston market.
The Double Quick acquisition represents the fifth for the company since last year.
Refuel executives told The E-T back in February that they plan to retain the Double Quick brand.
