MSDH released its daily data on confirmed coronavirus cases on Saturday morning, confirming active cases in Sunflower County had risen from five to seven overnight, and the data do reflect one death recorded in Sunflower County.

The number of cases statewide rose from 579 to 663, and deaths across Mississippi rose from eight to 13 from Friday to Saturday.
