Trojans win second straight, take care of Northeast 41-11

By BRYAN DAVIS PUBLISHER,

Mississippi Delta Community College spoiled a homecoming on Thursday night.

The Trojans (2-4) went on the road and defeated the Tigers of Northeast Community College 41-11.

Northeast fell to 1-5 on the season, while it appears MDCC has righted the ship on both offense and defense over the last two weeks.

The Trojans will take a two-game win streak into next Saturday’s homecoming game against Itawamba.

Be sure to pick up next week’s edition of The E-T for a full wrap on the Northeast game and all events during homecoming weekend.

Check out this week’s print edition (Page 16) for a full list of homecoming activities and to see the 2018 MDCC homecoming court.
