Indianola is once again on the lookout for a new city clerk as negotiations over the salary of Lisa Wynn, the previous candidate, failed to result in a hire.
During Monday's meeting, the board convened in a closed session to discuss personnel matters, including Wynn's salary, which lasted less than an hour.

City looking to clean out multiple problem ditches

The City of Indianola is taking steps to address the hazardous conditions posed by several ditches in the area.
During a recent city board meeting, the board members discussed the ditch behind Christine Johnson's house on Shannon Ferguson Cove, which has become a hazard due to children playing in the area.

$400k grant will help city buy half dozen police cars
