Services for Katie Lue Johnson of Inverness will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Inverness. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Johnson, 90, died Monday, June 2, 2025.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 13, at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Jimmy Barnett will officiate at the services.
Ms. Johnson is survived by: one daughter, Linda Stapleton; four sons, Y.T. Jones (Velma), Kervin Johnson Sr. (Carolyn), Darryton Johnson (Alberta) and Percy Johnson Jr. (Betty); her special cousin, Rosie Lyons Brooks; a god-daughter, Doreen White; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
