Services for Leroy Baymon Sr. of Belzoni will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 3, at Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church, Isola. Burial will follow at Humphreys County Memorial Gardens, Belzoni.
Mr. Baymon, 80, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center, Yazoo City.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, August 2, at Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Baymon is survived by: four sons, Leroy Baymon Jr. of Memphis, Doyle Baymon of Belzoni, and Eugene Baymon and Ira Ward, both of Houston, Texas; five daughters, Vivian Jean Bates, Jeanette York and Sharon Baymon, all of Houston, Texas, and Jacqueline Ward and Eva Baymon, both of Belzoni; one brother, Willie Baymon of Indianola; two sisters, Alice Baymon of Chicago and Doris Baymon of Isola; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
