If you cannot make these programs due to a tight schedule, take advantage of Library Pop-In Programs at all library branches available to you whenever you visit the library.
Storytime at the Library – Join us for Storytime at the Library every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Indianola Library featuring “Paints on Strike” by Jennifer Jones. This program benefits ages 0-5.
Virtual Storytime – Join us for Virtual Storytime every Thursday. This week’s story is “Mouse Paints” by Ellen Stoll Walsh. To join, simply visit the Sunflower County Library YouTube channel. This program benefit ages 0-5.
Bucks for Books - Take advantage of the Junior Auxiliary Bucks for Books program every Tuesday & Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Indianola Library. The Indianola Junior Auxiliary is providing monetary incentives for children who come in and talk about the books they read.
Storytime at the Wellness Center – Little ones will discover the magic of eating the rainbow while building early literacy skills and healthy habits. Join us for Storytime at the Wellness Center on June 18th at 10 a.m. at the Indianola Community Wellness Center, 408 Moody Avenue, Indianola. The featured story is “The Great Garden Escape” by Erica Clymer. This program benefits ages 0-5.
Thinking Money for Kids Games – Kids will explore the basics of money—like saving, spending, earning, and sharing—through exciting games and hands-on activities designed just for them. Join us at 1 p.m. at the Indianola Library in playing Piggy Bank Theater on June 17th, and in playing Penny Pinchers’ Party on June 19th This program benefits ages 6-11.
Infinite Craft Word Search – Step into the world of words and wonders where you match words and unlock surprising results! Join us for Infinite Craft Word Search on June 16th at 2 p.m. at the Indianola Library. This program benefits ages 12-17.
Paint and Sip – Unleash your creativity and enjoy a relaxing hour of painting and sipping your favorite soda or juice. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist, this event is the perfect way to unwind, socialize, and create your own masterpiece. Join us for Paint and Sip session on June 17th at 1 p.m. at the Ruleville Library, and on June 18th at 1 p.m. at the Drew Library. This program benefits adults.
I Spy Bottles – Get ready to spot, seek, and discover! Join us for I Spy Bottles on June 16th at 1 p.m. at the Moorhead Library, and on June 17th at 1 p.m. at the Inverness Library. This program benefits 0-5.
Colorful Creations Club – Join us at the Indianola Library from 12-1:30 p.m. for a fun, hands-on craft series happening every Thursday in June. Registration is required. Space is limited. So, stop by the Indianola Library to register. This program benefits ages 12-17.
