September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month! This September, your local library invites YOU to sign up for the most powerful card in your wallet – your library card! Library cards are free for everyone, and this year’s theme is “One Card, Endless Possibilities.” Our library is proud to join libraries across the nation in celebrating the power of a library card to open doors to knowledge, discovery, and opportunity. With just one card, you can access books, digital resources, educational programs, and so much more. This year, our goal is simple but ambitious: to put a library card in everyone's hand.
If you cannot make these programs due to a tight schedule, take advantage of Library Pop-In Programs at all library branches available to you whenever you visit the library. The Indianola Library will feature “Thinking Money for Kids” games for ages 6-11.
