Indianola police made the following arrests during the week of February 21 to February 26,
On February 23 at 6:14 p.m., Eugene Benard Pearson Sr, 111 Stonewall Drive was arrested and charged with disturbance of family and two counts of contempt of court after officers were notified by the Sheriff's office that someone said they had been shot in the 100 block of Stonewall Drive. However, officers reportedly did not find a gunshot victim. Nonetheless, another Stonewall Drive man was a reported victim and a Farberware kitchen knife was taken into evidence.
On Saturday at 2:56 p.m., Coleman Devontae McCray, 605 Cleveland St., was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense) after officers were called to the 500 block of Chandler Street because of shots fired. A Cleveland Street woman is the reported victim. A Taurus TX 22-caliber handgun, 16 22-caliber bullets and a Taurus magazine that holds 16 rounds was taken into evidence.
On Monday at 8:09 a.m., Fer’Daysha Je’Koyah Moton, 133 West Herman Johnson St., was arrested and charged with two counts of trespassing after warning and malicious mischief. One Oak Street woman said that the front driver's side tire, valued at $194, on her 2023 Nissan Altima was damaged. Another Oak Street woman said that her 2020 Nissan Altima was vandalized. A Linbar Street woman is also listed as a victim.

On February 21 at 9:54 a.m., a Gardner Street man said he damaged his 2013 Nissan Altima in the 1200 block of Garrard Avenue. The driver said he damaged the front driver's side tire and strut on a city street.
On February 21 at 1:13 p.m., a Hoover Street woman said that her ex-boyfriend, a Hoover Street man, was following and harassing her.
On February 21 at 2:07 p.m., officers spotted a West Gresham Street woman driving a 2014 Toyota Camry that had been reported stolen out of Greenville. A Solomon Katherine Street, Greenville man and a Fairview Avenue, Greenville man are listed as the victims.
On February 21 at 3:08 p.m., a West Pine Circle, Moorhead woman said that her supervisor, a French Road man, was harassing her in the 100 block of Front Avenue by continually telling her that she was missing time punches on the time clock.
On February 21 at 3:55 p.m., a Stonewall Drive girl said that she had gotten into a fight at school with another student and that the girl's mother, an East Gresham Street woman, has been harassing her through messages on Facebook.
On February 21 at 6:05 p.m., a Jackson Street woman said that a tree fell on her 2010 Buick in the 400 block of Jackson Street.
On February 21 at 6:49 p.m., a West Percy Street woman said that her daughter's ex-boyfriend, a Debon Circle, Horn Lake, Mississippi man, was trespassing on her property after being told not to come back.
On February 21 at 7:52 p.m., a Cleveland Street woman reported unspecified damage to the back glass on her 2024 Chevrolet Suburban.
On February 21 at 10:23 p.m., a Patricia Drive woman said that someone broke into her 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 600 block of U.S. Highway 82 and stole a $1,000 power tool, battery charger and batteries. A Patricia Drive man is listed as the victim.
On February 22 at 1:45 p.m., an East Gresham Street woman said two men, a Clay Street man and a South Colorado Street, Greenville man, driving a gray Nissan truck came into her yard and stole a Weber barbecue grill valued at $150, but later brought it back.
On Friday at 8:19 a.m., a Jackson Street woman said that someone damaged a window on her 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
On Friday at 10:08 a.m., a Williams Street man said that he noticed last week that his gun, a Taurus 9mm handgun, had been stolen and that his cousin possibly stole it.
On Friday at 9:26 a.m., a Kinlock Road man said someone broke into his 2015 Hyundai Sonata by damaging a window.
On Friday at 12:58 p.m., officers were called to Southern Bancorp in the 500 block of U.S. Highway 82, by an employee, to assist emergency medical staff because a North Elmwood Circle woman had tripped and fell in front of the bank.
On Friday at 4:09 p.m., a Roosevelt Street man flagged officers down and said someone had been threatening him by saying they were going to shoot into his house.
On Friday at 8:26 p.m., a Cox Street man said that his 13-year-old daughter's iPhone 13 Pro, valued at $1,500, was stolen at Walmart at around 7:00 p.m.
On Saturday at 1:05 a.m., officers were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital where a hospital employee said that a Bellevue Drive man and a Pershing Avenue woman had thrown acid on each other.
On Saturday at 6:43 a.m., officers were called to the Super 8 motel to assist emergency medical staff in an unspecified medical issue involving a Beaverdam Road woman.
On Saturday at 12:52 p.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of U.S. Highway 82 about a traffic accident involving an Inwood Street, Moorhead man and a College Avenue woman. The vehicles involved were a 2007 Lexus GX and a 2012 Acura TL. No injuries were reported.
On Saturday at 11:30 p.m., a Patricia Drive woman said that her niece and her boyfriend, a C. Hedgewood Road, Shaw man, were fighting at the house. A metal storm door was reportedly damaged.
On Sunday at 1:41 a.m., a Bellevue Drive man said that he let another man use his Maxwell cell phone, but the man got into a black Chevrolet Impala and left with the phone.
On Monday at 9:17 a.m., officers responded to an accident near the intersection of Catchings Avenue and U.S. Highway 82 East. A Cleveland Street woman driving a 2018 Toyota Camry and a Crittenden Drive Greenville man driving a 2019 Toyota Highlander were involved, but no injuries were reported.
On Monday at 10:28 a.m., a West Herman Johnson Street woman said that her boyfriend, an Oak Street man, assaulted her at her home.
On Monday at 10:42 a.m., an Oklahoma Street man said someone had committed fraud by cashing his disability check, in the amount of $2,829, without his permission.
On Monday at 1:59 p.m., a Lucille Street man said that he was driving on Airport Road and hit a pothole that destroyed a tire, valued at $176, on his 2023 Honda Accord.
On Monday at 3:29 p.m., a Lincoln Avenue man said that his 18-year-old daughter was bitten by a dog while walking home from school in the 400 block of B.B. King Road. A Cox Street man is reportedly the dog's owner.
On Monday at 6:37 p.m., a Stonewall Drive woman said that an East Gresham Street woman has been bullying her at school and harassing her by sending text messages threatening to harm her.
On Monday at 8:02 p.m., officers responded to Spoonbill Court after someone said some young people were fighting. The officers reportedly saw some children running from the location and stopped a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, owned by an Ethel Waters Drive man, and seized a Diamondback rifle and two grams of marijuana.
On Monday at 9:22 p.m., officers noticed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Double Quick store on Catchings Avenue. Two men, a Birch Street, Moorhead man and a Rambling Rose Lane, Southaven man, are named as suspects. Officers also reportedly found a Glock Gen 5 9mm handgun valued at $500.
On Monday at 10:34 p.m., a man called and said that shots were being fired in the 100 block of Curtis Street. But, when officers arrived they were told that there was no one there shooting and that the shots did not come from that area.

On February 21 at 10:30 a.m., Coy Williams Fulgham, 64, 605 Virginia Circle, Inverness was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (failure to comply with the requests or commands of law enforcement officers) and harassment.
On February 21 at 12:45 p.m., Tellic Mosby, 29, 305 Adrian Drive, Greenville was arrested and charged with violation of drug court rules and taking away of a motor vehicle.
On February 21 at 3:05 p.m., Jonathan Carson, 42, 1400 Pine St., Moorhead was arrested and charged with violation of drug court rules.
On Friday at 1:29 p.m., Daniel Richardson, 45, 1069 Cypress Drive, Tunica was arrested and charged with murder.
On Friday at 4:20 p.m., Christopher Dixon, 34, 600 Martin Luther King Drive, Ruleville was arrested and charged with contempt of municipal court (failure to appear) and three counts of simple assault.
On Friday at 6:45 p.m., Eugene Pearson, 46, 111 Stonewall Drive, was arrested and charged with two counts of contempt of municipal court (failure to appear) and disturbance of family.
On Saturday at 2:50 p.m., Coleman McCray, 29, 605 Cleveland St., was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense) and contempt of municipal court (failure to appear).
On Monday at 10:21 a.m., Carlos Tywain Willis, 37, 107 Gillespie Drive was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
On Monday at 6:44 p.m., Kenneth Terrell Moore, 45, 1117 Second Ave., was arrested and charged with stalking.
On Tuesday at 1:38 p.m., Terrence Willis, 35, 127 Ethel Waters Drive was arrested and charged with aggravated assault (use of a deadly weapon or other means).
