An Indianola native has been arrested in Biloxi.
According to news reports, Steven Demars Hillie, 32, was arrested after allegedly discharging a firearm in the 300 block of Lameuse Street there.
He was charged with aggravated assault on Jan. 24, according to the report.
The report stated that no injuries were reported from the alleged shooting incident.
Also this week, the Sunflower County Consolidated School District said it has pressed charges against an unidentified adult female who apparently entered Robert L. Merritt Jr. High last week and was shouting and cursing at the administration. There were rumors the person had a gun or a knife, but the district said that has not been confirmed.
The district is pressing charges to keep the person away from the campus for now.
