The second suspect wanted on multiple charges related to a melee at South Sunflower County Hospital over the Memorial Day weekend has been arrested.
According to the Sunflower County jail docket, Maleek Triplett, 23, 203 Slim Street, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace (public or peace of others), carrying a concealed weapon, simple assault to put fear by physical menace and felony malicious mischief.
Indianola Police Chief Ronald Sampson confirmed that his officers picked up Triplett on July 2.
Police also arrested Shearius Huey, 31, of Moorhead, for the same charges related to the same event.
The damage was allegedly done to hospital property in the emergency room area during the early Sunday morning hours that weekend.
Camera footage apparently shows what occurred in the ER, which apparently resulted in affidavits being signed and the warrants being issued for the two suspects.
