Let’s set the record straight.
The Board Of Supervisors of Sunflower County by no means is trying to stop, hinder or disband trail rides.
Our attempt is to make the events safe to the participants and a safe environment and respectful neighborhoods for the citizens that lives in the area where the trail rides are taken place.
Our fun shouldn’t be a nuisance and danger to the citizens in the area of the fun.
Safety first for the crowd and please have as much fun as you can respectfully.
There are misleading statements going out about our decision to regulate the trail rides.
That’s our intention is to regulate so the you can ride and enjoy yourself again safely and implying no discomfort and danger to any bystanders who don’t attend but may be affected by the crowds. Emergency vehicles has to be able to get to the events and have them on notice that such an event is taking place. So follow up with the Sheriffs Department and the Code Enforcement Department, Percell Moore so that you can be in compliance and have plenty of fun. Blessings to you all
Supervisor, Glenn Donald
