Mrs. Lisa Mitchell Cowart of Indianola and Mr. Mark Jackson Cowart of Oxford announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison, to Jesse Quinn Elliott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hillard Elliott of Lake Village, Ark.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Gerald Mitchell of Meridian, and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Wallace Cowart.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Edward Locke of Hamburg, Ark., Mrs. Patricia Myatt Elliott of Lake Village, Ark., and the late Mr. Bill Ernest Elliott.
Ms. Cowart is a graduate of Indianola Academy. She received a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Mississippi State University, where she was an active member of Chi Omega sorority. Alison works for The Crump Firm in Memphis, where she specializes in commercial interior architecture.
Mr. Elliott is a graduate of Washington School in Greenville. He attended Mississippi State University, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Jesse is a third-generation farmer on his family’s farm in Lake Village.
The couple will exchange vows at Saint Patrick Catholic Church of Memphis, in October of 2023.
