The Indianola Academy Lady Colonels soccer team is in search of a return to the win column.
However, they will have to wait until next Wednesday to attempt to make it happen.
For next Wednesday, the Lady Colonels will travel to Senatobia to take on Division II member Magnolia Heights School. Kickoff is currently scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
The trip to Tate County follows this past Wednesday’s 8-2 home-field loss to Kirk Academy of Grenada. A Division III North decision, the loss dropped the young Lady Colonels’ record to a 1-3, 1-2 mark in this young season.
In their recent loss to Kirk Academy, a pair of first half goals by Fran Veazey left the IA squad down by a 5-2 score at intermission.
However, the Lady Raiders posted three unanswered goals in the second half to take the score to its’ final margin.
