With a bare cupboard, Lady Trojans Head Softball Coach Tre Hobbs is not just rebuilding but starting from scratch. Working to create a winning mindset, break bad habits and instill fundamentals, Coach Hobbs has been putting his team on the field but with few results on the scoreboard. Though making strides from last season, the Lady Trojans have competed and been in close games throughout the pre-season but with no wins to show for all the effort.
The Lady Trojans will head into MACCC play in March as they host Mississippi Gulf Coast on Friday March 8 for a double-header beginning at 1:00 p.m. Check out MDCCTrojans.com to follow the Lady Trojans. Currently, Northeast is atop the pre-season with a 16-2 record followed by Pearl River at 15-2, Northwest at 10-2, Copiah-Lincoln at only 4-1, Jones College at 12-4.
