Expecting to open their 2024 baseball season Thursday evening, the Gentry High Rams were to take on the Bulldogs of Greenwood High School.
Although the result of that contest was unavailable at press time, the Rams have a pair of games scheduled to be played next week.
The initial upcoming non-regional action is scheduled to occur Monday when the Rams travel to Leland High School.
That 4 p.m. contest will be followed by another match-up with the Cubs next Thursday.
However, on this occasion the Rams will play their first home game of the season when the first pitch is thrown, again at 4 p.m.
