The LPS Men's Entrepreneurship Summit was a celebration of Black men who have taken the initiative to start their own businesses and become leaders in their communities. By providing a platform for successful businessmen/entrepreneurs to share their experiences and insights, the Summit aimed to inspire and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs to take the leap and start their own businesses.
The Summit, which is in its second year, has become a highly anticipated event among the Black entrepreneurship community. This year's Summit took place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Harlow's Event Center in Greenville. The event featured a lineup of distinguished and nationally-recognized businessmen/entrepreneurs, including speakers, panel discussions, and workshops.
Isaac Yowma was the keynote speaker and his presentation was a highlight of the event. Yowma shared his personal stories of success, including the challenges he faced and the strategies he used to overcome them. He also provided valuable insights and advice on how to start and grow a successful business. One particularly memorable quote from Yowma was, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." He encouraged the crowd to take risks and seize opportunities to increase revenue for their businesses, expand, or invest. His words were inspiring and motivating, and attendees left the Summit feeling empowered to take action and achieve their goals.
The panel discussions focused on specific topics relevant to Black entrepreneurs, such as access to capital, marketing strategies, and networking. In addition to the speakers and panel discussions, the Summit offered workshops that provided practical tools and resources for entrepreneurs to take their businesses to the next level. The workshops covered topics such as building wealth using technology, leveraging fashion to improve your self-image, creating community digital content, and movie production and distribution.

It was a movement that empowered Black men to take control of their financial futures and become leaders in their communities. By providing a platform for artists, farmers, and entrepreneurs to learn, grow, and connect, the Summit helped to create a supportive and collaborative environment that fostered success for all.
