Nola Arts Festival is right around the corner.
The annual Indianola Chamber Main Street event will be held on Front Street (Avenue) again this year on Oct. 5.
The festival will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will feature arts, crafts, food trucks, events like the hotdog eating contest, a dog show, a new Backyard BBQ Contest, as well as a strong musical music lineup.
Music will include the B.B. King All-Stars, Cheryl McWhorter Featherstone,
Alana Mosely and Joe Austin & the Tallahatchies.
As part of the preparation for the event next week, Indianola Chamber Main Street will be holding a downtown cleanup event tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 28) at 8 a.m.
The entire community is welcome to join for the cleanup and the festival.
