More than 33 half-pints of moonshine and quantities of bonded wine, beer and liquor were confiscated from Moorhead homes and businesses in weekend raids by Moorhead police, sheriff’s deputies and state agents.

Indianola Boxing Team members Eddie Taylor and Jerry Sansing placed high in the recent State Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament. Taylor won the light heavyweight championship and Sansing won the light middleweight division. Their coach is Franklin Otts of Indianola.
