IA soccer will travel to Manchester next week
A return to their home field was on tap for the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels soccer team Wednesday evening.
While results were not available at press time, the IA squad took a 2-3 record into that important Division III North match against the Lady Colts.
Moving on past Wednesday’s divisional season opener, the Lady Colonels will travel to Yazoo City next Wednesday for a 4 p.m. non-divisional match against Manchester Academy.
The Lady Colonels did recently add a digit to their win column with an August 25 win over Greenville St. Joseph High School.
The Lady Colonels controlled the match from the outset en route to recording a 5-0 victory over the visiting Lady Irish.
