While rain and COVID have played havoc with their softball schedule over the past three weeks, the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels picked up another victory Tuesday night.
Despite going 21 days without playing a game, the Lady Colonels claimed a 12-2 victory over Sharkey-Issaquena Academy of Rolling Fork.
Now owning an 8-8, 2-3 record, the Lady Colonels’ next action will occur next Monday when Briarfield Academy of Lake Providence, Louisiana comes to Chism Park.
Next Tuesday will then find the Lady Colonels back at Chism Park with Washington School of Greenville coming to town.
Both games are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
